Today, I was at my class's band concert. Before the curtain was raised, I helped haul the piano to a different spot so a girl who would've had to stand behind it could be seen. I said, "There, now your mom can see you play!" She responded with, "My mom's blind." FML

well I'm sure you didn't see that coming...

It is a nice gesture though. Plus you couldn't know.

Damn OP I'm so sorry, but in all honesty, what are the odds? Don't be too hard on yourself.

Try and do something nice and you look like an asshole. That's why I just cut out the middleman and act like an asshole all the time.

Lol I would have been like "shit that's the last time I will help someone"

She could have said thanks..

It's an accident, just say "I'm sorry, I haven't known, AND I MOVED MOTHAFUKIN PIANO!!!"

You did something nice and that's all that matters. You know Karma? It always comes back to you! :)

there there

Why would she be standing? Piano is played sitting on a bench.

It didn't say she was playing the piano, just that she'd've had to stand behind wherever it had been on the stage.

Well try not to feel bad about it, there's no way that you could have known

Well how were you supposed to know that?
