Today, I was applying some acne ointment. The directions said, "Apply a thin layer, covering the entire affected area." In other words, for me: My entire face. Lovely. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I followed an acne treatment. It was only after I'd finished the treatment that I read the bottom line, stating "Do not scrub your face". I only had one pimple to start with, now it looks like I sandpapered my face. FML
Today, I was following a makeup tutorial on YouTube. The girl said to apply concealer to any "problem areas" on my face. When I was done, 90% of my face was covered in concealer. FML
Today, I'm now able to put my acne cream on my face without having to look in the mirror, because I've memorized the crater and trench-filled war zone that is my acne-riddled face. FML
Nice spread
Today, I got a new skin cream for my acne. I tested it on a small patch of skin just to make sure I wasn't allergic. I was, and the reaction didn't stay on that small patch of skin. My left arm is now almost entirely covered in a horrible rash. FML
Today, I got 2 creams for a skin condition. The one for my face says "Don't expose skin to sun after use of this product". The one for the rest of my body says "This product relies on exposure to the sun". In other words, I have to be outside as much as I can, naked and with a box on my head. FML
Today, I found out that the acne under my arms was worse then the severe acne on my face. FML
Burning
Today, I realized that the tingly feeling on my face when I put a new combination of acne wash, acne medication, and my usual moisturizer on was not, in fact, "it working." It was slowly peeling away the top layer of skin. I look and feel sunburned. I also still have acne and oily skin. FML
Today, I noticed that my acne has gotten so bad, I can see it out of my peripheral vision. FML
Today, I found myself admiring my eyelids for being the only parts of my face not covered in acne. FML
Roommates from hell, part 4874
Today, I got a second degree sunburn everywhere above my waist, for which I've been using a medicated lotion. My roommate "pranked" me by switching the lotion with a similarly colored, very caustic acne wash. My chest feels like it's roasting in hell and is oozing pus and oil now. FML

What the hell are you talking about? You don't know shit about anything. I have astham and smoking ANYTHING is probably the worst thing to do. I've gotten asthma attacks from being near someone who was smoking. Asthma makes you unable to breath, so why the hell would you destroy your lungs with smoke, dipshit? You use your inhaler when you have asthma, it opens up your lungs. Don't say shit like that when you don't know what you're talking about. Oh, and acne, keeping your face clean and not touching it doesn't prevent acne, its genetic. My mom had cystic acne so I have cystic acne. I don't have oily or "dirty" skin, in fact I have dry skin. But its oily underneath so that's what causes it. I wash my face at LEAST twice a day, and only touch it to apply moisturizer, acne medication, and the likes. So please, don't talk about stuff you don't know, you just make yourself sound like an idiot.

I hate how ppl who make acne market it to ppl who only get like 1 zit a month, nobody markets to ppl who actually NEED the stuff(aka ppl like u and me with zits all over our faces)

You mean acne medication. Acne is the medical term for zits. And the reason those companies market their products to people who only get zits once a month, is that THOSE are the people that their products WORK for. If you have zits all over your face, Clearasil probably won't help. You probably need prescription medication from a dermatoligist.

Dude, FML's don't all have to be about all your family dying in an explosion on the same day all your stuff gets stolen and you get AIDS. No matter what's these are about, someone else is going to have a bigger problem. So who the hell cares, yes, lots of people suffer from acne but it's really embarrassing for them and can be a real downer, especially if it covers your whole face. As for all these "tips", go order yourself some 10% benzoyl peroxide solution off the internet, bin anything with salicylic acid in it. Rub the 10% all over your face at night and use a really good moisturizer with a high spf during the day. Don't use the BP during the day. Should take less than 2 weeks. Stay the hell out of the sun and tanning beds as the BP will make your skin sensitive.

I shower everyday, cleanse morning and night. I've taken pills, used creams, home remedies, everything, to try and calm the acne on my face, neck, shoulders, arms, back and sometimes even legs. Acne is awful. I feel your pain OP.
