Today, I stopped at a red light. I noticed the car in front of me had their reverse lights on. I thought to myself, "Meh, that person must know. They wouldn't do that." The light turned green. Turns out they didn't. Nor did they have insurance. FML

Today, I stopped at a red light, when I noticed the car in front of me was in reverse. I honked at the driver, hoping he'd realize and place the car in drive. He thought the light turned green and immediately backed into me. FML
Today, I stopped at a yellow light. The guy behind me did not. He had no insurance. FML
Today, the person I was driving behind put their car in reverse and backed straight into me. I was then yelled at and told, "I had my reversing lights on! Why didn't you move?!" FML
Today, I was driving in my very own car that I bought and paid for myself, when I stopped at a stop light. Then I noticed the truck in front of me turn on his reverse lights. I honked desperately. He hits me, looks out the window and says, "I see no damage" and drives away. FML
Today, a stoplight turned yellow as I was approaching it. I was about to go through but saw a cop, panicked, and slammed on the brakes. I ended up in the middle of the intersection and had to reverse. Soon the light turned green, and I stepped on the gas. My car was still in reverse. FML
Today, I pulled up to an intersection behind a car waiting to turn left and we missed a whole set of lights. As I was getting frustrated that they weren’t going when the light was green, I realised I was waiting behind a parked car. FML
Today, I noticed that an SUV forgot to put their gas cap back on, so I tried honking and flashing my lights to get their attention. They slammed on their brakes, causing me to rear-end them. So much for good karma. FML
Today, I got rear ended. The guy flashed his lights at me to pull over, so I pulled into the side of the road. He drove away. FML
Today, I saw a woman still texting on her phone as she started to drive away when the light turned green. I made sure to stare her down and give her a dirty look because she wasn't paying attention to driving. She laughed as I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML
Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML

Damn that sucks...the first time i ever drove i did that in a residential neighborhood except i was the one in reverse....and the car behind me was a brand new Mercedes SL55. He pulled up very close behind me cus he was very impatient. I floored it...how i didnt hit him i dont know, i guess i must have spidy reflexes, but i came to a stop about 5 inches away from him.

The day my brother got his license we went out for his "first real" drive. He was going up a steep hill and was in a car that would turn off the engine when put in neutral (as a fuel-saving mechanism.) Suddenly the lights turn green, he pushes it into first gear and floors it.. Only first was actually reverse, and he managed to save it about 1 inch from the bus behind us. He was so lucky that he had a "beginner" sticker on the back of his car, or the bus would probably have stopped closer to him and things would have ended up a lot worse..

well its against the law to drive without insurance, so I hope you called the cops when the accident occurred. Your insurance company should pay for the damages (since if you drive without insurance no matter the situation according to the insurance companies its automatically their fault.) It sucks that it happened, I've been in a similar situation with a driver that had no insurance, but it'll work out in the end. Good luck going through all shit to get things handled though (be prepared for lots of calls and repeatedly going over what happened in the crash.)

The guy that hit you is not very smart. Even if he doesn't believe in insurance companies. It's still nice to have it in case someone tries to sue him. I'm guessing that's going to happen in this case.
