Today, I realized I've been sinking into a deep depression, ignoring all my friends, and don't know what to do with my life anymore. This is all because I gave up Facebook for lent. FML

Today, Facebook stopped working and I realized how emotionally dependent I am on social media. FML
Today, I kept restarting my internet, wondering why I wasn't receiving any messages from my friends. Then I realized they were all ignoring me. FML
Today, I decided not to go on Facebook so people would actually think that I have a life. FML
Today, I spent an hour deleting 70 of my status posts from the past week so I don't look so addicted to Facebook. Damn, I need a life. FML
Today, I realised that my social anxiety, fear of people's judgment, social isolation, you name it, have got so bad that I literally have no interests. It got to such a point that I even have nothing to search up in the internet, so I just stare at an empty browser page wondering what should I do with my life. FML
Today, my social anxiety got so bad that I'm now afraid to add people on Facebook. FML
Today, while pensively thinking up my next awesome Facebook status over dinner, I finally came to the conclusion that I need to get a life. FML
Today, after growing tired of my friends group leaving me behind every time and having secrets between them, I started to ignore them and stopped following them, without saying anything. They haven't spoken to me since, and it's been 7 months. I'm alone. FML
Today, I decided that after three days, I had to cut short my hiatus from social media. I saw a correlation between that and my anxiety going through the roof, causing my work performance to suffer. I’m so addicted to social media that in my off time, I think I was having withdrawal symptoms. FML
Today, I was feeling really down and decided to text a friend to vent to someone about it. Then I realized, I don’t have any friends. FML

I'm a little upset Doc. I usually really respect your comments, but this one is a little harsh. I didn't vote you down because of your opinions of Facebook (I don't particularly like it either). I voted you down because you told someone to commit suicide. That's not okay to do whether you're just kidding or not. You have no idea what could be going on in that person's life and you may have just caused someone to kill himself.

I gave up juice of any kind for Lent and it's really hard when you get a craving for juice every few hours of every day. try talking or texting your friends. and you can always IM them as well. it's not the end of the world even if you're slightly habitual with Facebook. I'm sure God understands your trouble in not breaking your fast and appreciates the fact that you gave up something for Lent as well. just pray to Him and He'll help you through to the end of April. good luck :)
