Today, I purchased a box of girl scout cookies from a coworker. I wanted to save them for later at home, so I placed them on my desk and then headed to a meeting. When I returned, there was an empty box sitting there with a post-it note saying, "Thanks!" Nobody will own up to it. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, a girl-scout asked me to buy cookies, in front of Giant. She looked nice, so I bought 5 boxes from her. She took the money and went home with her mom. I opened the boxes when I got home and realized that the boxes just had rocks in them. I got scammed by a girl-scout. FML
Today, one of my housemates licked or bit all 12 of the cupcakes I'd bought to give to a friend as a "Thank you" gift. No one will own up to it. FML
Today, I was walking through Borders with my girlfriend, when we pass a girl scout cookies stand. I see a box of Samoas, my favorite, point at them, and shout, 'YEAH'. My girlfriend looks shocked. Behind the box of cookies was a five year old scout bending over, with her bottom pointed at me. FML
Delivered
Today, I brought my lunch to work in the only box I had lying around my apartment - a small one from FedEx. When I went to the bathroom before lunch, I returned to my desk to find that one of my coworkers had mailed my lunch back to my apartment. FML
Bad liar
Today, I brought a huge chocolate bar to work, left it in the break room, and came back to find it gone. Later, I saw a coworker with chocolate all over his face and fingers. I asked him if he took it, and he said, in almost offended tone, “What? No, that’s mine.” FML
High on life
Today, I made a batch of "special" brownies for a party I was going to tonight. I wrapped them up and put them on the counter with a note that said DO NOT EAT. Later on I came home from some errands to find a tray of half eaten brownies and my ten year-old sister passed out on the couch. FML
Oi! Get back here!
Today, while buying groceries, I noticed that the lady in front of me had left a box behind. I grabbed the box and ran out the door after her. After turning around to find three employees chasing me, I noticed I had just stolen the donation box. FML
All mine
Today, feeling generous, I bought a dozen donuts for my coworkers. Instead, I ended up taking them into my office and eating all of them in the first hour. FML
Thanks, I guess…
Today, I got a package containing a present from my grandma. It was a pack of cookies someone gave her for her birthday, and which no one in the family wanted to take home when she offered, because we all found the cookies disgusting. FML
Today, I was working at a donation center. I was having a really rough day, so my fiancée dropped me off some cookies. At the end of my shift, the manager told me I couldn't take them home because they were donated and therefore they were "company property." FML

I don't think you understand just how good Girl Scout Cookies are
AKGirlinSD 20
Exactly. These cookies are only around once a year and they are worth the wait!
Enslaved 38
Girl Scout cookies are only sold once a year. A box is a real treat when I buy one.(:

Or how expensive, #6...regardless, what can I steal from you, #1, until it's not "just" something anymore? Tell me my limit.
BellaFurfaro 12
Wrong. They're GIRL SCOUT cookies.

You, my friend, are dead wrong... They weren't 'Just cookies,' they were friggin' Samoas.

#51- Welcome! Those are my favorite as well. I bought a box from a friend recently and being that they only come out once a year, one learns to really cherish them.

55, Noooooooo! Those are my favorite and aren't those the most sold cookies each year? The stores even had ice cream made with three flavors from the girl scout cookies and that was one of them. I wonder if they are doing it this year.

That's like saying "it's just oxygen"! Girl Scout cookies are necessary for modern survival!

Must take 3's advice. After all, he is the Cookie Monster
hannaaaahr 33
I'm rather surprised that #3 gives advice like that, since he's the one that should take advantage of people like OP
andyyroxx 20
No, you're a genius and we'd have never even thought of doing such a thing! How did you make that connection?
erockinthesuburb 17
Thanks for the advice, Mr. Monster. By the way, can you tell me your whereabouts on Monday about 11am? :)

Don't worry, now you're one less box of cookies from reaching obesity, heart failure and obesity.
OhDearBetrayal 25
You know it's okay to have sweets in moderation. I'm sure if I have a couple cookies today it won't kill me in twenty years, just like how if I don't have a cookie it won't save me in twenty years either.
JanisEvans 10
A little in depth research and you might be surprised... See you in 20 years - or not.

But what about obesity?
saphiee 4
You said obesity twice.

And one box of girl scout cookies further into loss of faith into humanity, depression, and hunger.
tempermental 19
maybe you co-worker ate them so you would buy more?
Attica 20
Next time, leave them out of sight in your desk drawer. The temptation cookies tend to incite is too much for some people. F your cookie-less life, OP :(

Damn cookie monsters. They're just always around.

I think you should do the oreo trick, where you replace the white frosting with toothpaste and leave them on your desk. I bet your food wont ever get taken again.

I guess those Thin Mints were hard to resist! ***Sorry for you. I work with a bunch of food thieves myself.
