Today, I parked next to a police officer's car in a bad part of town. When I got out, I saw a bag of pot on the ground between the cop's car and mine. When I pointed it out to him, he insisted it was mine and interrogated me to the point of tears. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was stopped and searched by a cop, and he quickly found the bag of weed in my pocket. He didn't arrest or fine me, but he did confiscate my weed and told me to "get lost." Pretty sure I just got legally mugged. FML
Don't dick around with those guys
Today, I was chilling out with my friend in a parking lot, when a police officer came up to the vehicle and suspiciously asked what we were up to. My friend sarcastically said, "Uh, doing drugs? Planning a drive-by? Haha!" We soon found ourselves in the back of a cop car. FML
Busted
Today, I was arrested by the police for sitting in what they thought was a stolen vehicle. After being slammed into the back of a squad car at gunpoint, they realized the car was actually recovered a week ago. FML
Today, I got pulled over heading home from college. My car was full of my stuff from moving out, and I couldn't reach the glove box. I told the cop this, and asked if he wanted me to go around to the passenger side to get my paperwork. He agreed. When I got out of the car, he pepper sprayed me. FML
Today, I found an empty parking space in a crowded parking lot. When I came back later, a lady and a cop were standing by my car. Her car used to be parked there and got stolen. They think I'm involved. FML
Today, I borrowed a roommate's car to get groceries. I came out to find the car stolen. I called the cops, and the responding officer took the info and drove me home to give the roomie the bad news in person. 15 minutes later, they found the car. I'd parked it on the opposite side of the lot. FML
Cops don't do jokes
Today, a police officer pulled me over. He asked me where I was headed, so I jokingly replied, "Probably to jail after you run my name". He laughed and took my information, only to then arrest me for unpaid parking tickets I never received. FML
Panic mode activated
Today, I got pulled over by a cop car. As I was fumbling for my license and registration, I handed the officer a half-empty bag of Doritos I’d forgotten was in my glove box. He thought I was trying to bribe him. FML
Today, after taking my crush to the train station late at night, I sat in a local park alone with my thoughts for a while. Two cops appeared out of nowhere and started searching me for drugs and weapons, asking me questions for a good 30 minutes. Not the kind of action I expected tonight. FML
Community policing
Today, I was pulled over by a cop. He asked for my license and registration, so I reached for my center console. I was then greeted with a gun to my ear because my coffee cup supposedly looked like a gun. I stepped out of my car to apologize, and I was hit with a big stick. FML

If it was yours you wouldn't have pointed it out. Sounds like some asshole was just bored on duty

Well, that's what you get for telling the police officer that he dropped his marijuana. You know they hate it when you do that.

But i wonder if OP knows that she have every right to refuse to answer his questions, as officer don't have any proof. But some dumb-ass officers take advantage of people's fear. For their fun....

If you refuse to answer a police officers question it can be grounds for further investigation based off reasonable suspicion, which the courts would probably honor.

You know police's alway suspect everyone of a crime.. That's their job.. But anyway fyl.. It's really suck.. Sorry Op

The police are there to enforce the law, not to accuse anything that moves of committing a crime...

Yeah.. But Op said she was in bad part of town. And when the police work in that environment, they gonna be obsessed by criminal anytime..:)

No, it is not the job description of a police officer to think everyone is a criminal always. That's not how it works dear.

Did OP fill in a country? If so, it partly depends on if their police works with quotas.

@19, it is more than you think. They have to be suspicious of everyone and everything so they can do their job. if they went around giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, too many criminals would still be on the streets.

Damn, where are the grammar nazis when you need them...?

#2 stated that it is a police officer's job to ALWAYS suspect EVERYBODY of a crime. That's false. I'm not saying the police are going around hesitating to get involved in any potential criminal activity unless they're really REALLY sure the person did it, nobody said that.

Yea the other day I told a DEA agent his jacket looked "pretty dope". Needless to say he didn't take it as a compliment.
