Today, I lost my laptop, but I have my old childhood computer to use. It's password-protected, and the hint to the password is "meaner than Hera." I haven't been into Greek mythology since I was a kid, and if anything, this computer has just shown me how dumb I've gotten over the years. FML

So I never figured it out (although I'm pretty sure it wasn't the God of Farts) but the computer was really old anyway, so I'm just gonna borrow my mom's / use the one allotted to me at work until I can afford a new one. Thanks for the suggestions!

You haven't gotten dumber, your interests changed. When I was a kid I could name scores of dinosaurs off the top of my head. Today I can barely manage a dozen.

Maybe Mom?

You might have to venture outside Greek mythology to find a woman meaner than the goddess who followed her cheating husband around and shapeshifted his conquests (often rapes) into things like cows. Or you could look for things like the furies...

Half the problems in Ancient Greece were caused because Zeus couldn't keep it in his pants.

If the computer is that old, what good is it? If I were to try and turn on my "childhood computer" it wouldn't be able to run any of the programs I use, nor be able to connect to the internet. Unless you are still a teenager and your childhood computer is only 5 or 6 years old, it isn't gonna do you a whole lot of good even if you can crack your password.

Nooo, now we all want to know what the answer is. Maybe do your work on the other computers but figure out the password( and try all the suggestions here) in your spare time and let us know what it was. It's only fair now that you got everyone so curious. You don't want to make the FML gods angry. Lol ;)

take it into the Geek Squad. they can crack it. it's only like $35.

#157 Don't crack it, that's a waste of money. Get a copy of Windows from a friend and reinstall from scratch. There's nothing important on there anyway

Hercules? I've looked it up multiple times and so far? nobody is meaner than hera? apparently.
DoubleDosexo 12
Cronos or Rhea? it would make sense that one of her parents be meaner, right?

Try Ares if you want. God of war, wants endless death and destruction? Maybe Nemesis, goddess of revenge? God, I'm a geek.

I KNOW IT IT IS CUPID AS LOVE CAN BE MEAN AS ****

It could be a reference to Roman mythology as well. The Roman gods are basically war versions of the Greek gods. Meaner than Hera could mean Jupiter, the Roman form of Hera
geekchick88 17
Jupiter is the Roman form of Zeus, not Hera.
Nico_di_AngeloX 13
Yup, roman version of Hera is Juno.

No Jupiter is Zeus Juno is Hera

Jupiter is the Roman form of Zeus. Juno is the Roman form of Hera. Don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about.

You can restore it if you don't mind losing all the files. If you really want to keep the files then may I suggest taking the hard drive out and using a SATA to usb and plugging it into any local PC and getting the files?
