Today, I found out the guy I've been seeing for 3 months lives at home with his parents. He's 30. They live in a '50+ only' housing complex and he sneaks in the side door. FML

Today, the guy I've been seeing for a few months told me he couldn't stay overnight because his mom would yell at him for not coming home. We're both 30 and I didn't know he still lived at home. FML
Today, I learned why my boyfriend of 10 months and I never hang out at his place. He still lives at home with his mother. He's 38. FML
Today, I found out my son has been sneaking out of his room at night to see his girlfriend. He's a fully-grown 23-year-old man with a job and his own car. He doesn't need to sneak out. What an idiot. FML
Today, I found out the person that I’ve been casually seeing has decided he wants to live with me. I found this out when I asked him to go home after two weeks sleeping over, and he told me he'd already moved out of his mom’s. I sublet a single bedroom and have barely enough room for myself. FML
Today, I learned that my 29-year-old boyfriend won't stay the night at my house because he lives at home with his parents and doesn't want to have "the discussion" with his mom about me. FML
Today, my boyfriend threw a fit because I "still" live with my mother at age 30. I bought her an apartment in my building and hired a live-in nurse because she is senile and permanently bedridden. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 8 years moved in with two other women. He's spent the past 2 years telling me he can't afford to move out of his parent's house. FML
Today, my 24 year-old boyfriend said that he wanted to move out of our apartment, but also stay in a relationship. He's moving back in with his parents, over two hours away. FML.
Today, I found out that the guy I like was only coming to my house to get closer to my brother. FML
Today, I tried to have a fun night out. I met a guy and we went back to "his" place, which turned out to actually be his mother's house. He introduced me to her. Two hours later, I knew his life story and had to do the walk of shame without ever getting anywhere near his bedroom. FML

Maybe he can't afford a house or apartment. Maybe he's unemployed. That's no reason to dump him, though it might be a hassle when you're trying to get it on..

Its kind of mean to dump someone because of that. And it's way more of a FHL than the op's because she's only dating him. He's actually got to put up with that shit of sneaking into their retirement home everyday and not having a place of his home. So op, dump him or stfu.

Today's economy is NOT what it was 150 years ago, 100 years ago, 50 years ago. It is HARD to find a new place to live, and generally not worth the trouble. I may well live with my parents, or other family, for a long time to come, even when I do have other options; I'll pay rent, of course, but not leave. Women need to get over that antiquated garbage. Yes, once you are ready to start having kids, get together with EACH OTHER and start a family, you need to be able to afford some kind of place of your own. But until then, don't damn a man just because he's being practical.
