Today, I had a performance evaluation meeting with my boss. He told me I was the best in my department, and that the productivity has never been higher before I started working here. Oh, and he said that because everything is working so well, they don't need me as much, so he's cutting my hours. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had my six month employee review. My manager said that my attendance was good, and I was exceeding my targets performance wise. My reward, a five cent per hour pay cut. Apparently the rate at which I started is too high to meet their current pay scale. FML
The Dilbert Principle
Today, my boss called me into his office. I've been working hard doing extra work so I can get promoted. He called me in to tell me I'm to reliable in my current position, so I won't be moving up. FML
Nitpicking
Today, my boss told me I may lose my job due to underperformance. I was shocked, as he'd previously mentioned that I was performing well, and that I was safe from the current company wide layoffs. I asked him what I need to improve on. He said that my instant messages to him are sometimes too long. FML
Today, my boss told me that my attitude to work is awesome and that he'd follow my example of coming in half-an-hour early every day from now on. I relish those 30 minutes as the only time I can get work done without him constantly interrupting me. So much for that. FML
Today, after three weeks of my boss telling me how much he appreciates my hard work and has submitted my name up for a promotion, he called me into his office to announce I'm being laid off. FML
Scapegoat
Today, I was told I was being fired from my job after "5 months for poor performance." I helped lead my team to the highest possible success they’ve had the last 4 years. FML
Today, I was complimented on my improved performance over the last 3 months. My boss said he doesn't know what I've done to improve, but to keep it up. I'd only started looking for another job, and stopped giving a shit. FML
Today, after putting in 110% at my shitty job for two years straight, my boss told me point-blank I'm too good in my current position for him to ever be able to justify promoting me. FML
Today, my boss found out I had applied for a much better paying job. He told me I'd do a better job and make more money there. Then he fired me. FML
Today, my boss was fired by the board. A few days ago, he dropped several strong hints that he was going to promote me soon. FML

That happened to my husband to such a degree that his gross monthly amount went down by half.It was a bad month. He told them that if he was so valuable they better treat him like and pay him like it, or he would go to the company's top rival and work for them instead. they gave him a $2 raise and said he can work as often or as little as he likes, and they gave him a company truck. Try it, you might make off well.

I would start looking for a new job ... but I'm only a TV psychologist, what do I know?

Maybe he was boosting your confidence, before the fall.

I'd be bringing this business up with the union if that is possible at you work. That's pretty messed up.

Ask him if that is why his wife/gf won't sleep with him anymore? honestly. If you keep the work place moving, getting rid of you would make it go back to the way it was. this is a case of jealousy and bs politics.

Then start slacking off. Once you start slacking off, efficiently will go down, and you will get more hours. As soon as you get more hours, start working hard again to bring efficiency up. Eventually he'll see it's all because of you that the company would be running smoothly. =D

Youre damned if you and you're damned if you don't. I'd suggest firebombing the building. It worked for Milton.
