Today, I got a raise. A 10 cent raise. I have worked at my job for over 3 years. I now make 20 cents more an hour than people that have only worked there 3 minutes. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Rolling in it
Today, I got raise at work. It's $3 per month. FML
Today, I got a raise at work. It will bring my hourly wage to about a cent more per hour. Our CEO just reported record-breaking profits for the year. FML
Seize the means
Today, the person recently hired to work in my spot during my days off started at a higher hourly rate than me, after I have been here for nearly three years. I asked for a raise and got a dollar more; meanwhile, my regional counterparts make 4 dollars more per hour. FML
Downsizing awaits
Today, I got a 25-cent raise at work. That would be wonderful, had they not cut 6 hours off my schedule as well. I'm now making $200 less a month than I was pre-raise. FML
Promotion, huh?
Today, I was promoted. After going to school for 10 months to get certified for the new position, training extensively, and taking on a ton more responsibility, I was hoping for a decent raise. How much do my bosses think all of that time and effort is worth? One dollar more per hour than I made before. FML
Today, after 3 years at my job I received a 14% raise. I was informed I will be transitioned from hourly to salary. I will now be making $1500 LESS than I made last year. FML
Admit you're shit
Today, I found out that one of my coworkers, who has been with the company for less than a week, is getting a $7k pay rise. I've been with the company for 8 months and still on minimum wage. FML
Seize the means
Today, I found out I make less money than the temps at my job by over 2 dollars an hour. I've been working there the longest and do 75% of the job myself. I was told, "We'll think about it" when talking to upper management about getting equal pay or close to. FML
Evening out
Today, I finally got a raise after years of hard work! Excited, I went on a shopping spree, but as I checked the latest prices, it turns out that my extra income barely covers the increase in my grocery bill. Thanks, inflation. FML
Today, at the job I've had for eight years, I finally got the raise I was supposed to get a year ago. One hour later I found out the store was closing and we were all out of a job in two weeks. FML

u retard thats ten cent you could be saving if you spent everything except that ten cent per year that about $36.40 a year. save it for two year ur could be on your way to Disneyland, and 12 extra dollars to buy stuff from there. and if u dont like it quit.

No, it comes out to $208 a year if you work 40 hour weeks. Which sucks. I work at a place for a bit over a year and make $5 more an hour than when I started. Sorry, just wanted to gloat. I voted YDI... because I'm a dick.

Same thing happened to me, we got a raise because the minimum wage moved up, then we hired 3 new people that made the same as me. I've worked there 3 years.

retail? I worked there, too! We had staff PARTIES whenever there was a 15 cent raise. One time, I got 55 cent raise. it was the first time though and I wasn't sure how to react. I think they were expecting me to jump around and cry. I felt more like saying "huh. well duh...:

All of you people telling her to quit and agreeing that her life sucks need to go tie yourselves in a closet. While you're getting your pretty little ten cent raise, hundreds of people are LOSING their jobs. So, OP, do me a favor: Stick that extra dime up your ass and quit your bitching.
