Today, I got fired from my job. I worked for my parents. FML
Today, my company filed for bankruptcy, but the reorganize kind where it still functions. There are no funds to give out paychecks any time soon. They won't fire me. If I voluntarily quit, I cannot file for unemployment. I'm now an unpaid intern. FML
Today, my father's company shut down his branch, leaving him without a job. This is followed by a letter from my school's financial aid office, saying I'm not getting a penny because my family's income level is too high. FML
Today, after being laid off for over a year, I got turned down for an unpaid internship. I can't even get people to let me work for free. FML
Today, I found out I'm getting a pay cut, a week after I told my boss I need a raise or second job just to afford bills. I made the company 10k last week. FML
Today, the company I was fired from three years ago merged with the company I work at now. The new owners' first order of business was to fire me again. FML
Today, my mom cussed at me because I denied my struggling cousin a job at my company, and now it's my fault he and his family will suffer and starve. He was fired from his former job as a payroll officer, and is now blacklisted. Over 30 people got zero on payday, as he later went Living La Vida Loca with his "bonus". FML
Today, after nearly eight months of unemployment, I started a great new job. After seven and a half hours of work, my new boss comes up to tell me what a great job I was doing, but that he somehow forgot to clear the new hire with the company owner, so I'm fired. Hello, unemployment... again. FML
Today, I got denied for the second job I thought I had lined up, because I’m technically related to the manager. I’ve only met her once in my life before today. The other was due to a hiring freeze. My unemployment is almost out and these are the only two calls I’ve got. FML
Today, I was fired for actively seeking employment with another company. Because of having just been fired, the other company will no longer give me the time of day. FML

Why do people always say work at McDonald's? Why not just say work at a fast food restaurant? Besides, it's not like McDonald's hires everyone who applies there. I worked at McDonald's for over two years, and trust me, we did not hire everyone who applied. Not even half of the people who applied were hired. Yeah, that job sucks, but it's better than not having a job at all.

32 - I totally agree. Some people I work with are like in their 40's and I guess they have nowhere else to go but I mean it seems like people just don't seem to try hard enough now a days when it comes to getting a job. And 38 - that's dumb. You have to start somewhere and I don't see why working at McDonald's would stop anybody from getting a job in the future.

My First job was iga, there for 2 years and was making 15/hr when i left, started at 12. Now im at west fraser mill in the planer making over 26/hr for a fraction of the work and dont have to deal with ****** customers....stupid customers where 50% of the reason i got out of there.

But then you got to buy guns, and once you start selling crack on someone elses territory you got to figure out all the turfs, one you find out the turfs you realize that you could be making more money with protection in a gang, once in the gang, you have to spend money on more guns, tatoos (to ink up your body to show loyalty).
