Today, I found out that the catchy Japanese song I've been obsessed with for the past week is actually about a dildo. FML

RoseTheOdd tells us more.

I'm the op :) The song is called "Choudo ii ino" which means, "It's just right" if you look up the lyrics for it (with the english translation) it becomes pretty obvious what it's about. my friend is Japanese, she told me what it meant.

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

If I found out a song I loved turned out to be about ******, I would laugh about it. honestly, that's nothing to be embarrassed about. if it's catchy, it's catchy.

Oh...well, that's interesting.

Oh, those kinky little Japanese folks. I thought it was all about the tentacles with them.

The only reason that tentacles are used, is that all pornographic material is censored in Japan. The use of tentacles is a way to work around this law.

That is the main modern reason, yes, but tentacle erotica predates "censorship laws", with evidence of it from as early as the 17th century(netsuke carvings) to early 19th century(The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife by Katsushika Hokusai)...so it's pretty much just always been a sick fetish... -.- ..

Tentacles- long hard and have little suction cups...

wont be too hard to forget it now huh?

Yup, been there....there was a song by Maximum the Hormone I loved at one point, then I found out it was just a little bit paedophilic....still like it, or the music side of it anyway, but REALLY glad no-one I know speaks Japanese... >_

It's alright. Nobody understands the words to Gangnam Style either.

Gangnam Style is Korean and I actually do know what it means...

I knew that. My point is just that this foreign song that hardly anyone across the pond understands is such a big phenomenon all because it's so damn catchy.

I listen to Japanese music myself and I always look up the translations. But I'm studying the language so hopefully I won't need to one day.

As long as you dont know any Japanese people, youre okay haha

Was it by スティーリーダン?
