Today, I found out my husband of 10 years has a online blog. Excited to read about myself, I began skimming, only to find out that every entry is him explaining how he let his "soulmate" walk away 9 years ago because of his "previous commitment" and how he regrets it every day. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I learned how unhappy my husband is in our marriage. Apparently he also can't find a good woman. We didn't have a heart-to-heart, I read his woes in a blog. FML
Today, I found my husband's journal, and along with it the real reason he took so long to show up to our wedding rehearsals last year. According to the journal, it was because he was too busy wooing a married mother of five and sticking his "slut-banger all up in that fat booty." FML
To be fair and balanced…
Today, I found out my husband is still friends with someone who talks a lot of crap about me. FML
Trust
Today, I found out that my husband read my journal behind my back when he got mad over something I'd written in it. This is the same journal that my therapist told me to keep, to help me get past my trust issues. FML
Today, I stumbled across my ex's blog. Apparently, while dating me, he realized he was gay. Good to know the one guy I've dated, lost my virginity to, and fell in love with, was never truly attracted to me and was dating me just to be sure. FML
Jan-Michael Vincent? Heather Locklear?
Today, I found out my boyfriend has a creepy stalker blog dedicated to some minor celebrity from the '80s that I’ve never heard of. When I asked him about it, he accused me of spying on his private life, even though the blog is there on the internet for anyone to read, and stormed out. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 4 years decided to start an online blog about his life. He mentioned his cars, his friends and even his staff. I was never mentioned. FML
Married life
Today, I found out my husband of 7 years has been cheating on me with "10-15" people. FML
Backstabber
Today, I found out that my husband asked out another woman on a date five days before our 11th anniversary. FML
Today, I found out that my wife had been debating leaving me for an old boyfriend from high school. They rekindled their relationship on Facebook, and talking on the cell phone. Both things I insisted she have. FML

Tell him you know exactly how he feels. If you really want to hurt him, tell him your "lost soulmate" was well hung.

I could never stay with a man who doesn't think of me as his soulmate. to be referred to as a 'previous commitment' and not 'dear wife'. to be regretted as a choice. I'd rather be alone.

You ought to track down this soulmate and offer her a threesome. That would be a nice belated 10th anniversary/Sorry-for-Ruining-Your-Life present.

No worries, people tend to romanticize the past and just wonder what could have been, especially when they are unhappy at the moment.

This X 10000. There's no such thing as soulmates, only a 'grass is greener' mentality. Trust me, if he had had married the 'soulmate' instead and lived with all of her irritating habits and assorted human imperfections day in and day out, he'd be blogging obsessively over YOU.

quit being selfish. if you love him, let him be happy.

He clearly isn't happy though, that's the problem.

#40 I think you're missing the point- OP never had the opportunity to 'let him be happy' as she only found out now, via his blog, that her husband regrets getting married to her and not being with his 'soulmate'. Personally I think husband is a huge idiot for not being honest 9 years ago. How would OP know otherwise?

Well, snooping does tend to lead to learning things you were happier not knowing about yourself.

How can this be snooping? It's a blog, not a diary!

Surely you must've noticed something in the ten years you were married? Or 9 years ago when it happened?
