Wow I'm sorry OP I know that you love him but I really hope that you guys don't stay together after this, he was hiding a whole and completely different life from you not to mention how did he think that you guys were get married? since he is already married. I don't know who proposed to who however, if he proposed to you then he had NO right since he knew he was still married and if you proposed to him then he had NO business at accepting your proposal knowing that he had a wife, I truly hope everything works out for you please give us a follow-up. All joking aside, this is a pretty sad situation. Sounds like OP'S fiancé has some things to work through but now there are 3 people with a broken heart. This scenario is more reminiscent of Brokeback Mountain than Friends. Sad. Best of luck to all!

True, very true. However, if he was gay, it would give a very powerful reason for why he was cheating on his wife. Still a bad thing to do, and he wasn't being honest with anyone, so my sympathy has its limits. The OP and the man's wife have most of my sympathy.
