Today, I finally got my laptop back after my friend broke it a few weeks ago. As I walked back into our place with my laptop in my bag, the same friend burst out and tackled me. My bag fell and slammed into the floor. Guess who has to pay for another repair. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I got my laptop back after lending it to my friend. It wouldn't boot, and after investigating I found out it'd been stripped of its hard drive and all its memory. When I confronted my "friend", he accused me of lying and trying to ruin his reputation. FML
Thanks, "Bro"
Today, my brother "pranked" me by dropping my new laptop out my bedroom window. He'd set up a saran wrap safety net below to catch my laptop safely, but he didn't secure it well enough. My laptop is completely fucked and he won't accept responsibility because he didn't mean to break it. FML
Bye gifts
Today, it seemed like a great day. Right up until the point to where I accidentally damaged a friend's MacBook Pro. Not only do I have to pay for it, but the only way I'll be able to afford it is by returning every single Christmas gift I get. FML
Thud
Today, I got home after a long day and collapsed onto my bed… forgetting I'd left my laptop open on it. Now I have an expensive, broken pillow. FML
Precision strike
Today, I helped friends move home, and since we couldn't all fit in their car I took the bus. While waiting, my new phone slipped and crashed on the floor. It now has a cracked screen right between my two overpriced phone protectors. FML
A tale as old as… well, 2007?
Today, I got my phone fixed after the screen had been shattered for four months straight. Then, the moment they handed it to me, it fell straight to the floor and shattered. Again. FML
Today, I took my new laptop into my house from my car, thinking it would be a too much of a target for kids grabbing it. I came home tonight to find my door kicked in, my laptop gone and my TV ripped from the wall. FML
Today, I came home to find that my roommate had picked my lock and stolen my new laptop. When I tried to take it back, he called the police. They sided with him since he had also taken the receipt, which was "proof" that it was his. FML
Priorities
Today, I was driving to my new home with a lot of my belongings in the car. I could hear things shifting in the back. When I parked, I opened the door, ready to catch my vodka. I caught it - and watched my laptop slide out of the car, onto the concrete, and break into 3 pieces. FML
Today, I was in a music shop looking for a new guitar when someone called out someone else's name and jumped on my back. I lost balance and fell forward and broke 3 guitars and damaged another 6. The guy said "Sorry, thought you were someone else" and ran out. I now have to pay £2500. FML

I'm just sayin, if your friend broke it, then tackled you while you were holding the laptop, shouldn't they pay for it?!?!?!?

Since, he has a habit of doing stuff like this I doubt the OP friend will be mature enough to pay for it. Considering he did it the first time and the OP paid he might say well this was an accident too it's not my fault

Your dumb ass friend?

Your friend should pony up and pay for the repair. Actually, since they broke it the FIRST time, the first repair should have been on them as well. I'd get some money out of them, if I were you, OP. Make them take responsibility for their actions and replace what they broke. That or get some new friends.

"That or get some new friends." why not both?

Your roommate is an immature jackass.

I'd feel extremely guilty breaking ANYTHING of anyone's. Friend or Foe. I'd be forced to pay by my conscious. A true friend would pay.

If they are as much of a friend as you think they are, that person should pay for your laptop to be fixed. Just don't let them anywhere near it after

You're an idiot for paying for the repairs
