Today, I finally found a cute dress that hugged my curves and hid my imperfections. I wore it to my friend's house, and was feeling pretty good about myself, until some pregnant woman walked into the room wearing the exact same thing. It was a maternity dress. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

It still fit and it was cute. Everyone is built differently. Don't try to force yourself to look a certain way.

Are you sure its a maternity dress? because some pregnant ladies don't need maternity clothes. I still wear my maternity clothes even though i have lost all my baby weight. You can't tell at all, so if you like the dress and it fits you nice wear it anyway.

Aww, I'm sorry. See, you have good taste. Whatever, I'm sure you rocked it!

That's why you always look to make sure your not in the maternity section o.0

So what? As long as you like it it's not like people look at other people and guess what kind of clothing department it's from.

I'd click the "I agree, your life sucks" button, but it's currently at "(6969)" and I don't want to ruin the moment. :|

Nice move

Well you showed up with the dress first, so at least you don't have to change.

I couldn't wear actual maternity clothes until 8 months, so maybe she just wore a dress that was forgiving? Even if it was a maternity dress, it doenst really mean you're fat or unattractive or anything along those lines. I'm rather tall and still buy maternity tank tops because they're longer and softer than other tank tops and I'm fairly thin.

at least you felt good for a while

I love the dresses most. especially for the summer heat
