Today, I drove my husband's car to the mall because my car was in the shop. The bumper was being repaired because I got rear ended while stopped at a traffic light. While stopped at the same intersection I got rear ended again. FML

Today, I was feeling super nervous about driving because I had my first accident the day before. As I stopped at a red light, I got rear-ended. FML
Today, I dropped my car off at the dealership for a bumper replacement due to a hit and run in a parking lot. After being told it was ready, their shuttle picked me up, and backed up into my just-replaced bumper. FML
Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML
Today, while driving, I got a call on my cell phone. Trying to be safe and avoid an accident, I pulled into the nearest parking lot before answering. While I was turning in to park, someone rear-ended me. FML
Today, for the 2nd time in a month, I've been rear-ended at a stop light. One insurance company refuses to pay because of prior damage from the 1st accident, and the other won't pay because of new damage not caused by their client. I just want my car back. FML
Today, I was driving home from work and noticed the car behind me was tailgating me pretty badly. I was starting to get angry with the driver, and kept glancing in my rear view mirror at him. While I was doing so, the traffic ahead of me stopped, and I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML
Today, I was driving in stop and go traffic and passed two accidents in the process. I got nervous and decided to change routes to avoid getting hit. As I was trying to find an alternative route on my GPS, I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML
Today, while driving to work, some asshole stopped sharply on the 60 mph highway because he almost hit the car in front of him. Even with maintaining my distance, and slamming on the brakes, I still ruined the front end of my car on his dented bumper. I haven't even had the car for a year, and I'm still the one at fault. FML
Today, I had two accidents in my car: one when a truck drove into its rear end, the other immediately after when my own rear end released its load onto the seat. FML
Today, I got rear ended. The guy flashed his lights at me to pull over, so I pulled into the side of the road. He drove away. FML

May be the intersection is haunted. May be there is a ghost that the OP once rear-ended on that very intersection and she can not go to the afterlife unless she rear-ends the OP a few times there.

unless it's just a hazardous intersection. OP never said both accidents were on the same day, just that she got hit twice at the same intersection. maybe the light sits just around a corner which makes it hard for people to see or something. though i am reminded of dane cook: "WHY DID YOU STOP AT A LEGAL RED LIGHT, AND LET ME HIT YOU DOING 80?!?!"

I agree with #11. It's like the quote "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Unless it's a freak coincidence (which it just might be), then likely, you're doing something to help facilitate these accidents, such as braking hard, changing speeds constantly, or not using your turn signals to switch lanes. Or maybe just blame the intersection.

Really if your getting rear-ended twice in a pretty short span your probably doing something that's causing this. I'm glad at least someone else realizes this.

it's the responsibility of the driver behind her to be in control of their vehicle and be aware of the light. even if she stopped fairly short, they should be leaving plenty of space between her car and theirs. she's just unlucky. also, this is more of just a minor inconvenience because the other diver's insurance should pay to have your bumper fixed. so there.
