Today, I dreamed that I cheated on my boyfriend. I was so overwhelmed with guilt that I called him while half-asleep to tell him about it and apologize. I'm fully awake now and he doesn't believe it was really a dream. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Too close to home
Today, I had a terrible dream where my boyfriend cheated on me with his ex. I woke up almost crying and called him just to tell him how much he means to me. Turns out my dream gave him that little extra push he needed to confess he's been cheating on me. With his ex. FML
April fooled
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me for cheating on him with his best friend… in a dream he had last night. I was upset at first, but then I remembered what day it is, and laughed at his silly "prank". He was completely serious. FML
Time flies, people change
Today, I had a dream that I cheated on my boyfriend. With the person he was when we started dating. We’ve been dating for two and a half years and I love him, but he’s so different than when I first met him. Even though he’s technically the same person, I can’t help but feel like I cheated on him with him in my dream. FML
Today, I got woken up and kicked out of bed. Apparently if I cheat in her dreams it still counts. FML
Fart are funny, period
Today, I was in one of those lucid half sleeps with my boyfriend. Not fully awake to control myself, I ripped ass. I had no idea what to do. I pretended to still be sleeping. I'm pretty sure he noticed because he patted me on the back in a congratulatory sort of way. FML
Guilt
Today, I had a nightmare in which I murdered a store employee because the store wasn’t selling the item I wanted. I would never do that in real life, and now I feel extremely guilty for how I acted in my dream. FML
Today, I had a dream that I kicked the moon like a soccer ball. It started swearing in my boyfriend's voice. That part wasn't a dream. FML
Today, I discovered that I sometimes talk in my sleep. After spending an amazing, perfectly romantic night with my boyfriend, I woke up to him telling me to leave. I have no idea what I could have said. He still won't talk to me. FML
Do you remember?
Today, I woke up from an amazing dream I was having about my girlfriend. We were laughing and holding hands, the kind of dream I wanted to stay asleep for. When I finally got up, I was excited to tell her about the dream but then I remembered. We broke up a week ago. FML
Today, I had a nightmare and woke up in a cold sweat. My girlfriend was in bed with me at the time, and swears I yelled out another girl's name. She considers this proof that I'm cheating on her, and now she won't even speak to me. FML

I probably would not believe you if that happened.

Damn, that sucks. Hopefully you'll be able to explain it better and get everything fixed soon!

Kind of like the 'oops, wrong person' excuse isn't it?

Well just explain it a little more clearly! Haha

It doesn't matter how clearly you explain it "I was apologizing for a dream, I didn't really cheat on you" sounds like you really mean "I shouldn't have told you the truth and I think you're stupid enough to fall for this excuse."

OP should play "Just a Dream" by Nelly really loud whenever she's around her (ex?)boyfriend. Subtle hints are the best ways of making things known. That and keeping stupid little things like dreams to ourselves also helps in these scenarios. But, hey! I may be wrong...

Ehhh, it's kind of unusual imo

Should of kept that to yourself...no one would believe you now.....

If you get to sleep in the same bed with him again, pretend to sleep-talk & say "I love my boyfriend and would never cheat on him". Problem solved.

Sure, the world is filled with idiots.

somehow, I don't see that working

That sucks! I think your bf should trust you more. I hope you will clear things soon!

The problem is OP. See, it sounds like absolute bullshit. While half-asleep she probably just said she cheated, and now "it was in a dream, though" sounds like bullshit.

Yeah that would be a tough one to explain... "Hey, I was feeling guilty for cheating on you. In a dream of course".

That sucks! I said some funny and embarrassing stuff while half-asleep, even answered my phone and talked to people in my sleep. Thank God it was nothing like this though.

Well, I can't really blame him for not believing it was just a dream, but it's also not your fault. Dreams happen. All I can say is that I hope he eventually believes you. I wish you good luck.
