Today, I confronted my husband over the fact that despite me working two jobs to support us for the last three years, we're nowhere near our goal of buying a house. He actually had the brass balls to defend pissing my money down the drain on his ceramic cat collection. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my husband and I have been trying to buy a house and start a family together. Now I find out that he just spent $5000 on comic books. FML
Today, my fiancé and I had a fight over household expenses. He's never had a job in his life, but this didn't stop him demanding that I get another full-time job to pay for video games and beer. FML
Business school of business school
Today, I found out my husband hasn't paid the mortgage in 3 months. We have a joint account, but it has always been his job to pay the bills. We are in the process of selling our house, and when I asked him about it he said, "Why are you stressing? We're selling anyways." FML
Kick the bum out
Today, after spending money on all the furniture and decor in our apartment, paying rent every month from my bank account, paying for all the groceries, and paying for all the dog supplies, my fiance asked why I don't keep saving thousands of dollars every month, while he pays for none of it. FML
Secrecy
Today, I found out my husband of one year has been renting his old batchelor's apartment in secret, because he is unsure if he wants to stay married to me, and we are broke. FML
Pushover
Today, my wife always wants to spend on big items, like a new pool or home renovations; I want to save for our future. At 45 years of age, we are in heavy debt and I have no other assets as a backup. I should have stood up to her from the beginning. FML
Downward spiral
Today, my soon-to-be-ex husband raised the bar. He sold our former marital home and put the money into a college fund for MY nieces. Now he looks great to my family, he already has a new place to live (thanks to his rich parents), and I’m stuck living with a college friend. FML
Checks and balances
Today, I found out my husband has racked up $3000 on our credit cards, and ruined my credit score. When confronted, all he had to say was, "Well you didn't tell me when you bought that ten-dollar t-shirt, so I guess we're even." FML
Today, my husband is sulking because I wouldn't let him do what he's always wanted to do: throw our cat out the second floor window to see if she would land safely and on all fours. FML
Findom
Today, my husband got paid. I checked our bank account and was shocked to see we'd only received $300. I called him, insisting that there was some mistake. He said he'd started a new bank account in his name so he could manage our money on his own, and the $300 was my "allowance". I now want a divorce. FML

Why is everyone down voting 66? He has a good point.

Totally agree with 66

I make more money then my ex husband and save better as well. It's actually usually the woman who is better at saving and budgeting. The fact that he thinks men are the only ones to make money is why he is being thumbed down.

Tell him that if he wants to keep collecting cats, he should get his own job to pay for them

66- so true I don't know why people are voting you down.

I've heard of old cat ladies, but this?

A grown man with brass balls that collects ceramic cats is a bit.. eccentric.

If I were you, I would take a baseball bat to all his ceramic cats and show em who's boss!
DeathBunny218 37
Considering OP needs the money I think selling them is a better option.

10 - so true especially since she's working two jobs 5 - for some reason I read that as 'take a baseball bat to his brass balls' XD
DontClickOnMe 28
So, if he's pissing your money down the drain, does that mean he doesn't have a job? Maybe you should encourage him to try and find a job.
JOcoco 14
Then he can piss his own money down the drain
citymayer 7
Exactly! I was like aww heeeeell no my husband would not be wasting money on damn ceramic cats.

Yeah, but ceramic *******???
Kwagyash 13
Nah, she should sell them. She'd at least get some of the money back for the house.

Maybe these cats are a good investment, but something tells me they aren't. Someone needs a lesson in money management
