Today, I broke my right leg. I've had one shot of morphine, and even that only relieved the pain a little. It's now totally worn off and I have yet to get pain medication of any kind. My leg has been broken for over nine hours now. FML

Today, I'm in hospital after having surgery for a broken leg. I’m maxed out on Endone and still in pain. Work have said that I’m on the roster next week and I’ll be fired if I’m not there. My wife said that she is going to have some "me time" for a few days when I get home from my "holiday". FML
Today, I fell down the stairs, breaking my foot and tendons. It was the first time I had ever broken anything, and the doctor said that it's the most complicated break he'd ever seen. It's too complicated to operate. Now I'm stuck in a wheelchair for god knows how long. FML
Today, I had my first real break from work in ages, so I decided to go hiking. Less than 20 minutes in, I tumbled a couple hundred feet down a steep hill, broke my leg and several toes, and lay there in agony for an eternity before I was finally rescued. FML
Today, I was riding my bike when I passed a derelict house that recently burned. Curious, I dismounted and went inside. I stepped on a nail, and while I was staggering in agony, I hit a weak spot in the floor and broke my other leg. FML
Today, the sciatic nerve in my left leg started twinging at random moments, leaving that leg painful and useless for a few seconds each time. Yesterday, I twisted my right knee and ankle falling over at work. Standing up is terrifying and I don't know which leg to limp on. FML
Today, I broke my leg while trying to show my friend how I broke my other leg. FML
Today, I started my cure from my opioid addiction. My whole body is so sore, I'm lying in bed and I'm still hurting to the point that I cried half the day, and nothing will make me feel any better. FML
Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML

Good call 104. I'm pretty smart, but I had completely overlooked the fact that OP might have broken her leg by breaking the bone. Thanks for your diagnosis, doctor.

lol ur a bitch I broke by arm when I was younger and I was fine and I went to sleep and got a cast the next day but no pain medication of any kind

People break their legs all the time. You don't LIVE off of the pain medication, sometimes you deal with the pain that comes with life... You're certainly not the first to have your leg broken and you won't be the last. Deal with it..

I broke my leg too acualy my femur it sucked i got morphine alot an to the guy that said he broke his leg an didnt get any medication thats a lie cuz the hospital has to give u medication ur not a hardass so stfu

I broke both bones in my right arm/wrist and the closest hospital wouldnt let me get meds because they just closed, long story short I didnt get meds till the next day, shit sucks.

You think thats bad? I broke my ankle on saturday and my dad decided to take me to the doctor 2 days later on Monday. I even had to try to walk on it multiple times and go to my friend's birthday party. I have had absolutely NO pain meds. none at all and it will be a week tonight at 10:55. I have a broken hand right now an if you keep it elevated it wont hurt that bad. the only meds I've had were ibprophine

Same thing happened to me 4 years ago when I was 8 , it was my wrist though. No medications what's so ever. Be strong and good luck.
