Today, I bought an $80, "invincible" phone case. One test drop later, my phone had turned into an expensive paperweight. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste

Today, I dropped my phone. I'd only just bought this new phone last night. It barely survived 12 hours. FML
Today, I realized the $40 iPhone case I bought to keep my new phone from getting scratched, scratched my iPhone. FML
Today, my fancy rubber phone case did its job and saved my phone from damage when I dropped it on the bathroom counter. Unfortunately, it was rather useless after the massive bounce it took before landing in the toilet. FML
Today, I bought a new phone. It's shock proof, water proof, you name it. Just not kitten proof, it seems. That's $400 down the drain. FML
Today, after calling the insurance plan for my new iPhone a "huge waste of money", I promptly dropped it in the store while trying to put it into my pocket, cracking the screen. FML
Today, I figured out that a $40 phone case does not protect your $500 phone from a five year-old throwing it off a fourth story balcony. FML
Today, my friend told me that Otter Box phone cases protect the phone whether it's thrown or just dropped. I disagreed. He then threw his phone across the room into a cement wall to prove it. The phone's screen was completely shattered and now he thinks I owe him a new phone. FML
Today, my roommate was making a waterproof iPhone case and decided to use my phone to test it out. It didn't work. FML
Today, I bought an otter box. While setting up my iPhone, I dropped it and it is now shattered. FML
Today, I realized that with all the money I've spent on repairs for my iPhone through the months, I could have bought a phone that doesn't die horribly whenever I so much as give it a mean look. FML

Otterbox, dude. I've run over my iPhone, drunkenly thrown it across bars, dropped it in the mud, and it's still alive.

Lets be realistic. Advertisers will post anything to get you to buy their product. So its your dumbass fault for doing a "test drop". You definitely deserved that one

Is the case okay?? That reminds me of those YouTube videos of people scratching their iPods with keys & dummies trying it, only to scratch up their iPods! Not smart!!!! YDI!

Wait, this is how i read it..you spent 80$ on a phone case put it on ur phone and then dropped a paperweight on your phone? Would you drop a baby after putting a helmet on one?! Wait for an accident to happen next time, don't cause one on purpose moron.

I think you need to re-read the FML.

How did you expect anything other than YDI?

It all depends on how they worded it... If the phone case is still fine, then it indeed is invincible! Never test things like that man 0_O Now I know to stay away from you when you wanna test a bulletproof vest.
