Today, in class I was teaching 6 year olds about the difference between short and tall, and I asked them how they could see that I was shorter than the other teacher. One of them raised their hand and said it was because I'm fatter. FML

Today, I was told that when I was in middle school and thought I was considered class clown for either making jokes or acting stupid, people thought I actually was stupid and/or mentally challenged. FML

Today, I'm at the age where I'm supposed to be having the time of my life. I'm short and look so young that I get asked if I'm still in high school. Every girl I've ever known looks at me like a "little brother". The only girls who have shown interest are still too young to vote. I'm missing out on my 20s. FML

How is this an FML? I'm 42 and shorter than most 3rd graders. As evidenced when I work as a substitute teacher or help at my sons school. Who cares? You're short. Embrace it!

Height isn't everything hun. I'm basically 5' 10" ... but most of the actual nice guys I've dated were closer to 5 foot. nothing wrong with being tall or short. it's all in your confidence level and personality. you are prefect as you are.

check you aren't a celiac as it can stunt growth? My mate was diagnosed in his teens and as soon as he stopped eating gluten he rocketed up an extra foot in height!
