Today, my ex mother-in-law stupidly made an offhand comment, so I got my kids DNA tested. NONE, I repeat NONE of them is mine. When I think of the thousands I’ve paid in child support I’ll never get back, and now my own mother thinks I’m an asshole for refusing to pay any further. FML

Today, my dad's will included a DNA test he did on me when I was 3, proving I’m not his son. I thought we had a great relationship, but apparently he secretly hated me all these years for mom cheating, and decided to embarrass me in front of our family, half of whom it turns out I’m not related to. FML
Today, during divorce proceedings, I decided to have my kids DNA tested. Neither of my kids are mine. My daughter's real father is unknown but my son's DNA identifies him as related to me, but not as my son, so he’s more likely my nephew, meaning his dad is one of my brothers. FML
Today with a DNA test, I found out that my husband is my half brother. 30 years ago his father made a donation to the sperm bank my mother used, and I’m the result. To make matters worse, I’m pregnant. FML
Today, my wife somehow convinced a judge to force me to pay child support for a child that isn’t mine. I recently discovered our son was the result of an affair and not biologically mine, so I divorced her, but the judge is forcing me to keep supporting them financially. FML
Today, my husband presented me with a DNA test proving that our newborn daughter isn't his. Confused, I got her tested again. She's not a match to me either. FML
Today, I walked into court with DNA evidence my ex-wife’s 5 month old son isn’t mine, and somehow I walked out of court still required to pay child support to my cheating whore ex. How is this legal? He’s not mine. I’m not even on the birth certificate. FML
Today, I was super excited to receive a large inheritance, maybe put it towards a house and a vacation. To my horror, the entire 40k went to my child support arrears. My psycho ex is the one who wanted those three kids, not me. FML
Today, I found out that my husband secretly DNA-tested all of our kids after they were born. Obviously they're his, but I'm incredibly hurt at his lack of trust and I'm thinking about divorce. FML
Today, my sister and I decided to do one of those online DNA tests just for fun. Our mom came in, saw all the stuff on the table, and lost her mind. She started bawling and apologizing. Apparently, neither one or neither of us actually belong to my dad. FML
Today, I got ancestry DNA tests for my parents and myself. The DNA testing company informed me that I'm a 50% match for my mother but I share no DNA with my father. Apparently, both my parents forgot that they used a sperm donor. This insignificant detail has slipped their minds for 35 years. FML

oh my lord, wow, just wow...I feel so bad for you. the emotional pain must be horrible. as for the $$ you paid, just remember that it went to those innocent children. they didn't do anything wrong. you fail to mention how long you were married and also how old they are. you don't have to pay anymore, but just consider the$ as taking care of kids that you loved.

oh my lord, wow, just wow...I feel so bad for you. the emotional pain must be horrible. as for the $$ you paid, just remember that it went to those innocent children. they didn't do anything wrong. you fail to mention how long you were married and also how old they are. you don't have to pay anymore, but just consider the$ as taking care of kids that you loved.

If you have already paid child support they can force you to keep paying legally because “you assumed the responsibility”.

this almost happened to me but I had my doubts so we did a dna test before the baby was born and my ex told me if it was mine she would oils come after me hardcore for child support since I didn’t believe the child was mine. and I made her get the rest done. the next day I walk into work holding a sign saying “I am not the father!” everyone cheered and I left that women. I’m sorry for what your going through, it’s crazy how laws work in this country !

There is a difference between those children who are not genetically related to you, and those children who are not yours. I feel really bad for those kids, because it seems that who they though is their father looked at them as just a bill he had to pay. Assuming this was more than a few years thing, don't you have any emutional feeling to them? Do you really want to give up kids that you love that loves you, just because you are not genetically related?

Mate, that just sucks giant, hairy balls. I'm assuming that they're all by the ex-wife, can't you go after her for fraudulent extortion or something? She clearly knew the chances of them being yours were low... If the divorce wasn't about her cheating then maybe you should have a chat with your divorce solicitor?
