Today, I overheard a co-worker tell the new guy not to talk to me because I'm a bitch. Apparently, she didn't like it when I told her two weeks ago that she had a drinking problem, which was affecting her work ethic. FML

Today, my boss called me into her office to tell me I needed to mind my own business and not question everything my newest co-worker does. Yesterday, I stopped the new girl from giving $6,000 to the wrong person. I was fired on the spot. The new girl was promoted into my job. FML
Today, after years of listening to my coworker complaining about everything in her life, including her job, I finally stood up to her and bitched at her for complaining and not doing anything about it. She went to my boss, and now it's in my job description to listen to her when she complains. FML
Today, my mom started her new job; she's now my new coworker. She's already told the other girl I'd said she talks too much, and has berated me for not calling her "Mom" while at work. FML
Today, I got a coworker at my new job in trouble, because he kept harassing me and asking me out, even after I clearly told him I wasn't interested. Turns out he's very popular around here, and everyone now hates me for being a trouble-maker and not "taking a compliment." FML
Today, I shouldn't have told my boss that I was interested in management. She now throws any problem she doesn't want to solve at me and either gets mad when I can't work it out or takes credit when I do. FML
Today, I told my supervisor how awful my coworker was at her job. I then got fired. FML
Today, my boss yelled at me, telling me that I can't answer the phone anymore. Not because I do a bad job, but because a co-worker whined about it being her job. People call her and complain about how rude she is and then ask to talk to me. FML
Today, at work I got told off by my manager for texting while working. Enraged by this, I trash talked her to the new girl at work. The new girl, a.k.a. my manager's daughter. FML
Today, a coworker told me I was "fat shaming" them by discussing weight loss with other coworkers. FML
Today, I overheard my boss talking about me on the phone. Turns out he was drunk off his ass when he gave the go-ahead to hire me, and he's now searching for any excuse to legally fire me. FML

To be fair, unless you're management it's not your position to call someone out for drinking. You go to management or HR if there's that type of issue.

.... she's upset and defensive because you called her out. Was there a better way to get your point across without appearing to attack her? Also, was confronting her a part of your job? A supervisor (or H.R.) would have been the best messenger.

If I had to work with an alcoholic that affected my projects due to their behaviour, you can damn well be I’d call her bullshit out. Whether a manager or not gets involved, I’m not going to let someone who makes shitty life choices that affects my work prevent me doing my job properly. It’s not a discriminatory remark, so feel free to call a coworker a drunk asshole. That is if they are truly an alcoholic that ***** up other peoples job because of it. And for the record, I’ve already done this before. But thats because being drunk caused a safety issue. Worse, how do you report a high up manager?

okay and? just because you'd do that and I'd do that doesn't mean it's the best way to handle the situation. also I'd fully expect her not to be happy with me.

Just curious as to what kind of reaction were to you expecting? Whether or not she has a drinking problem, a random coworker telling her (presumably at work) is plain rude and out of line

I've had this happen, after mentioning repeatedly that a high up manager was causing safety issues, nothing was done. Then you say something and the blame falls on you. No win situation.
