Today, I had to do a still life of a pillowcase for my drawing class. To make up for bad grades I've gotten before, I followed my professor's directions to a T. He took 19 points off because I drew the background when no one else did. We have to do it for every piece. FML

Today, I finally finished my art project, which was worth 50% of my quarterly grade. I came in first period to give it to my professor. When she turned to look at it, her elbow hit her coffee and spilled it all over the canvas. I got 60%. She said I would have had a 100%, except for the giant coffee stain. FML
Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML
Today, my mother yelled at me for not doing all of my homework. She got so mad, she tore up a drawing I'd spent over a week working on. That was my art homework. FML
Today, I tried really hard for once on an assignment. I was told it was my worst work yet and that I may as well have turned nothing in at all. FML
Today, in art class, our instructor called me up to the front to model for a drawing. I agreed to pose because it was nice to be called on, and I needed a self-esteem boost. He then thanked me, saying it's a great exercise for the class to draw such strange proportions. FML
Today, I was in class just taking notes and minding my own business. The teacher has already called my parents twice complaining about me. As we are taking 3 pages of notes she grabs mine and rips them up, saying that she is sick and tired of me drawing. I was drawing the graphs on the board. FML
Today, I got a writing assignment back. After meeting with my professor specially after class and meticulously combing through every word of that paper, I got a low D. Turns out, he graded me down on every suggestion of his that I took. FML
Today, I was putting the finishing touches on my portrait of a young boy in art class. I asked my teacher if she could help correct the bad parts of my portrait. She said, "Well that would take all day and I just don't have the time." She was serious. I thought this was my best work yet. FML
Today, I had to do a PowerPoint presentation alone, since none of my group members showed up. I was given a big fat 0 for doing the presentation alone. It was worth 50% of my grade. FML
Today, I found out that my stick figure drawing passed as homework during my doctoral level seminar. I'm paying over two thousand dollars for this course. FML

I think your teacher might have it out for you. Believe it or not, certain teachers actually do bully some students. I think you need to report this

Yeah I gave him a pretty bad review, but I tried to remain civil and simply said he would be better in a different environment for teaching.

That’s good. Sometimes students and teachers just kind of clash, but the teachers have all the power to do what they please. I’m glad that the story had a happy ending with a ‘B’ at least!

Important to make sure nothing changed regarding format. Especially an art class, just because that was was required before doesn't mean it's needed everytime. That's on you for not asking. teachers make odd subtractions to the formats/ or additions it is on you to ask. Some teachers are assholes, but you have to make sure nothing has changed.

OP here! First ever FML published, AND its title is my favorite video ever? DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! Yes, I did draw the pillowcase too in case you were wondering. This teacher was just extremely difficult to please and was vague about what they wanted. They just said to "follow the course module", So I did and asked as many questions as possible to make sure I did everything right. He said everything was fine throughout every draft I sent in too. Honestly, I think he just didn't like my art style as a whole and didn't want to say it. I had a painting teacher just like that years ago, so it's not uncommon for that to occur. On the bright side I got a solid 'B' as my final grade and, of course, got thoroughly drunk for the first two times in my 24 years of life to celebrate.

I can understand that one. Had an art teacher when I was in grade school who flat out told me that I couldn't draw and would be better off in a different class. Scraped by with a D in that class.
