That's a hard no, Patricia
Today, my aunt asked me to change my major to a program I’m not interested in so her depressed son, my cousin, could have a study buddy. I’m in my last year of university and have been accepted to a master’s program. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I asked to change my major at the college I'm transferring to in the fall. Instead of letting me change my major, they withdrew my acceptance. FML
Today, in an attempt to get some guidance from my college advisor, I emailed her, saying I was contemplating going to another school because I felt so helpless about my GPA, and was sure I wouldn't get my major. I asked for advice on raising it. She gave me instructions on how to drop out. FML
Today, I told my cousin I was admitted to a top MBA program. He asked if it was an online-only certificate program. FML
Today, I should be starting my last year of college next week. But no. My old advisor messed up my schedule so badly that there's no way I'll graduate for another year. So I'll be in school five years for a four year program because as a freshman I thought my advisor was helping me. FML
Today, I applied for college graduation. Turns out my advisor screwed me over and now I'm 1 credit hour short of getting my degree. Now I have to wait another semester and pay $3,500 just to take a one hour class on Bowling so that I can graduate. FML
Today, I excitedly told my mom how I got accepted to the master’s program of my dreams. She decided now would be a good time to proudly repeat for the millionth time how she gave up a full ride to the Ivy League to marry my father, and I ought to be a "good woman" and do the same. FML
Today, after entering a conservatory of music, I've worked really hard on my academic subjects to past through the exam, so my major is pretty weak. After practising 6 hours a day for three weeks, my teacher asked me to change my major and said I'm the worst student she's ever seen. And there‘s nowhere I can go. FML
Today, I finally convinced my mother to allow me pursue my dream job after months of begging. I logged in to the college's website to register for the course and found that the final seat had been filled in today and I need to wait one more year for admission. FML
Today, my mum yelled at me for wanting to apply to university courses that she doesn't approve of. I'm applying for Biomedical Sciences and Microbiology, she's an unemployed Jehovah's Witness. FML
Today, I was put on academic suspension only to find out my professor entered my grade wrong. I lost my financial aid and have to explain to my parents why I’m not in college anymore. FML

Why is that your responsibility? I say you politely tell your Aunt that you've chosen a major of your interest and recommend that her son talk to a professional as you are unequipped to be helpful in these circumstances; a study buddy will not help with depression, but a therapist can. She can have her feelings about this and you can acknowledge and validate them while still holding strong to your boundaries in a firm but respectful way.

So? Unless she's paying your tuition she doesn't get a say in your education.

Just ignore her. It’s a stupid, thoughtless, and selfish request.

So say no. I'm not really understanding why that's a big deal.

Her son is probably depressed because of the kind of mother he has.

I'm getting that you're in uni and have been accepted for a Masters. You might have bad family members, but compared to most people, your life is great. Also, the bad family members aren't your parents or siblings, so why are they your problem?

Looks like they are looking for someone to blame when he inevitably fails.. Run like the wind.
