Thanks, I hate it

Today, my boss called me into his office. Expecting a long overdue promotion, I hurried in. Instead, he told me he thought I would be perfect to take his son on a pity date, because he's a suicide risk due to his depression. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

Same thing different taste

maybe if his son is satisfied you could get a raise ;)

Look on the bright side OP, he trusts you. Next step will be promotion :)

People keep saying things like "but think about the kid! You could brighten his day!" Do any of you realize how inappropriate and unprofessional it was to ask her to do that? It puts her in an awkward situation that we all know the boss would never present to any men. It's disgusting and awful. Think about yourself and your own professionalism, not the boss's kid.

Maybe you can work out a deal and get a promotion and who knows maybe you'll like his son

As someone who's experienced suicidal ideation, I can confirm that that's a really bad idea

Free dinner!!
