Thanks, Canada!
Today, just like every other day, I live in the Midwest. If you're not living in the Midwest, and you're wondering how we're doing with the Canadian wildfire smoke, I'm here to tell you that we're quite miserable. Especially if you're me, a person who already has very janky lungs. I'm afraid to leave the house. FML

Southern Ontarian, here. We're not having a great time either. My lungs, eyes, and skin can't take much more of this, as well as my many other chronic illnesses. :( I'm sorry you're having a bad time of it, too.

In those times, there was actually fire management of the forests made by Natives. They burned small lots of land so they wouldn't have to suffer through big wildfires. Plus, the weather was colder, there was more trees, and industries had not polluted the air too much yet.

Sorry to hear that. It makes me wonder how humans survived in the days when fireplaces were the only way to get through the winter. Maybe humans' lung diseases were much more prevalent then.
