Talk is cheap
Today, my co-workers keep making fun of me because I said, “You’re very so welcome.” They say it's not proper grammar, but honestly I can’t find anything that says I’m wrong. FML

Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I found out that I’ve been greeting a coworker by the wrong name for six weeks. The worst part? They never corrected me because they thought it was funny, especially because it turns out to be their mom's name. FML
Today, my coworker keeps loudly saying things like, "Oh, now THIS!" If I don't ask, "What?" she pouts. If I do ask, she tells me, at length and with very bad grammar, how every one of our colleagues and partners is either stupid, rude or out to get her. FML
Today, I was so nervous introducing myself to my new team, I actually mispronounced my own name, badly, and now that’s how everyone refers to me, but again, I’m too nervous to correct anyone. It’s been a week already, so correcting them now would be extra weird. FML
Today, I mistook my boss’s "Have a good weekend!" for "How’s your weekend?" So I replied, "Great so far!" It’s Wednesday. FML
Today, I sent a thank you note after a job interview, emphasizing my accuracy at editing written reports; I misspelled the company's name. FML
Today, while messaging a possible new hire to set up an interview at my retail job, I meant to say, "Thank you for being flexible" - in regards to scheduling. Instead, it autocorrected to, "Thank you for being delicious." FML
Today, I was on a work call when my coworker made an accidental Freudian slip. Thinking I was muted, I muttered, "That’s what she said." I wasn’t muted. FML
Today, my family savagely mocked me to the point of tears, all for using "big", "fancy" words like "accommodations" and "hospitality". FML
Today, I was chatting to a co-worker, upon whom I have a serious crush. It was going really well, until he said "irregardless", as if it's actually a proper word. This grammatical abomination really ticks me off, and I actually had to fight back the urge to beat some damn sense into him. FML
Today, at work I put myself squarely in the lame / old people category when I foolishly asked out loud what FML meant. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

It's a redundant sentence. It should be "You're welcome" or "You're very welcome" "You're very so welcome" is wrong in structure and it's redundant. It should be "You're so very welcome". However, that is redundant as well...but at least that would be structured properly.

You can use "so" to intensify "very," but you can't intensify "so" with "very."

It’s not. “You’re so very welcome” would be more acceptable.

Sorry, kid, we're not going to do your grammar homework for you.

Of course they make fun of you -- you sound like Yoda. Besides the awkward word order, it sounds like an insincere (or even sarcastic) exaggeration. If the person said "thank you very much," your reply seems like you're making fun of the person's excessive gratitude. Just say "you're welcome" and be done with it, Timmy.

Aw, you should make him do his own research. How will he learn?

To start with the words are messed up in their order. If you had stated "You're so very welcome" it would be a start although either the so or the very is redundant as "very welcome" or "so welcome" would be better.

Just type it in Microsoft Word. That will show up any grammar mistakes.
