After two years of trying to win her back, I'd decided it's best just to move on. Guess who they matched me with? FML
Today, I saw yet another dear friend from uni get married, living the good life in their new home. Here am I in my 30s, with no love life, and feeling like that's never going to be for me. FML
Today, the guy I thought I was gonna marry left me for another woman. I want to jump off my apartment building, but I’m too much of a wimp to even do it. Now, I get to live the rest of my life wallowing in sadness, while he gives his new girl the happiness I once had. FML

In my book, "took up with" doesn't mean marry. You can always try again, but you have to accept that at least half of the problems in your relationships are you.

In my book, "took up with" doesn't mean marry. You can always try again, but you have to accept that at least half of the problems in your relationships are you.
