Today, I went to a corner store to restock my chocolate stash. A guy from work walked in to see me and the cashier arguing about the amount of candy I was trying to buy with a jar of pennies. He took one look at me and said, "That time of the month, eh?" FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I work at a general store and a customer came in trying to bargain a set price of an item. The item? A 50 cent candy bar. He wanted it for 34 cents. This is not the first time he's done this. FML
Today, I went to the store to pick up some feminine products. As I was paying, the male cashier looked at me sympathetically and asked if it was my girlfriend's time of the month. I'm a girl and was buying them for myself. FML
Today, at my store, I had an old man violently accuse me of charging him for an extra pack of 99¢ Mounds candy yesterday. He held up my line for 10 minutes, fighting me about it. I didn't even work yesterday. FML
Today, I went to my local Walmart to grab a few groceries, and while at the checkout line I grabbed two chocolate bars for a snack. The cashier gave me a look and mumbled under her breath, "Surprise, surprise." I'm pregnant, asshole. FML
Today, while at my job in a candy store, a boy stuck his hand into the bin, contaminating the candy. As I politely explained that the dad had to purchase the affected candy he refused, yelled, then angrily agreed to buy them. The total cost of the candy with the extra pieces? $1.69. FML
Today, my husband had a temper tantrum because I wouldn't get him a chocolate bar at the store register. FML
Today, I went grocery shopping. Being a bartender, I had a huge wad of dollar bills from cash tips. As I was counting them at the register, I looked at the cashier and joked, "You probably think I'm a stripper or something." He looked me up and down and said, "Uh... hell no." FML
Today, while in the store with my kids, they wanted to buy tampons because I am "getting cranky, and it should be that time of the month." FML
Today, while working at a dollar store, I was clobbered by a woman because apparently, I was ripping her off by charging two dollars for two doughnuts. She didn't understand that she couldn't buy multiple items at once for one dollar. FML
Today, I had to sit patiently at the checkout at work, listening to my own father rant about how the twinkies he was buying were "twice the size back in my day", and how "you could buy a dozen of these suckers for just 10 cents." He didn't stop there. No, he tried to haggle over the price. FML

I wasn't going to vote YDI... until I saw the jar of pennies bit. I mean he doesn't have any right to say that, and he should probably get punished for it, but... you had it coming.

Just go to the bank and exchange the pennies for paper money.. Or bigger coins atleast.. Id be pissed too if i was the cashier

One lady wanted to pay for 10 dollars in loose change, one 1$ bill and the rest mostly pennies... It's not pleasant especially in drive thru 0-0 Just keep a stash of change on you and try to use it up in your transactions. Eventually you'll have more dough :-)

I'm going to look for the FML where the cashier says, "Today I was working my job and some woman came in with a jar of pennies and started arguing with me over how much candy she could get for it..." I know what it's like to desperately need chocolate, but damn, go to the bank and get some cash so you don't piss off a cashier by trying to pay in pennies.

Go to a godamn coinstar if you have a jar of pennies. Having worked in retail, I would love to slap the shit out of anyone who thinks its acceptable to make a cashier count a ton of pennies.
