Today, I work at a general store and a customer came in trying to bargain a set price of an item. The item? A 50 cent candy bar. He wanted it for 34 cents. This is not the first time he's done this. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Presumption
Today, I went to a corner store to restock my chocolate stash. A guy from work walked in to see me and the cashier arguing about the amount of candy I was trying to buy with a jar of pennies. He took one look at me and said, "That time of the month, eh?" FML
Clerks 3
Today, at my store, I had an old man violently accuse me of charging him for an extra pack of 99¢ Mounds candy yesterday. He held up my line for 10 minutes, fighting me about it. I didn't even work yesterday. FML
Cheap and gross
Today, while at my job in a candy store, a boy stuck his hand into the bin, contaminating the candy. As I politely explained that the dad had to purchase the affected candy he refused, yelled, then angrily agreed to buy them. The total cost of the candy with the extra pieces? $1.69. FML
Today, while working at a dollar store, I was clobbered by a woman because apparently, I was ripping her off by charging two dollars for two doughnuts. She didn't understand that she couldn't buy multiple items at once for one dollar. FML
Today, I had to sit patiently at the checkout at work, listening to my own father rant about how the twinkies he was buying were "twice the size back in my day", and how "you could buy a dozen of these suckers for just 10 cents." He didn't stop there. No, he tried to haggle over the price. FML
Crisis
Today, I had a customer throw his purchase at me and demand a refund after I told him that, due to the national change shortage, I couldn't give him his 38 cents. FML
Today, at work, a guy tried to buy me for a dollar. I've only been there a week and it's the third time it's happened. FML
Today, I was so broke that I paid for a $0.28 candy bar with my credit card. FML
Today, at work I was trying to be nice and give a customer a discount because she was having trouble finding money to pay for her food. Everybody behind her then demanded a discount as well. FML
Today, at work, a man wanted to buy a garden hose which came up on the till as £1.99. He said that it was wrong and that it should be £1.89, so he then demanded that I call someone down to set it right. He held 20 customers up for 15 minutes to get 10p off a garden hose. FML

You should have told the customer it was on sale. buy one at regular price and get a second candy at full price.

Tell him you like his face and you’ll give him a special price: Two for a dollar. ;)

"Just for you, good sir, it's 68 cents. Take it or leave it."

"Sir, I wish to propose a deal to you: From now on, I will buy you one candy bar a day until one of us dies. In return, you will spend the same amount of time in servitude to me, doing anything and everything I tell you to do without hesitation, or asking any questions. You will be on call 24/7, and must always be within a 30 minute drive of my current location so as to ensure you are at my side when I so desire. If you agree to this deal, I will give you this candy bar once you have unclogged our toilets. What say you?"
