Today, I was fired from my job at a local family-ran restaurant. The Reason? The owner's daughter has been stealing money from the register little by little and has blamed me for all the lost money. The boss is still convinced it's me, though, because his daughter would "never tell a lie". FML

Today, my sister got me in deep trouble at the store I worked security for. She "dropped by to say hi" and stole a bunch of things when I wasn't looking. I wasn't arrested, due to lack of any evidence. But my boss didn't care about evidence and fired me anyway. FML
Today, I was working at a local restaurant when another server's table called me over to ask if I've "ever killed anybody". They informed me I looked like a serial killer. I informed them, of course, that I have never killed anybody. Another customer claimed I scared her child. I was fired. FML
Today, I got fired from my job for stopping a shoplifter. Where's the logic? FML
Today, my horrible parents turned up to the restaurant I work at just to mess with me. Dad forgot his wallet, what a surprise, and asked me to pay the bill. I refused so my manager got involved. My dad got arrested, I got fired and might lose my lousy flat if I’m late on the rent. FML
Today, I got fired. My coworker decided to imitate my voice, stand outside of my boss's office door, and say insulting things about his daughter. FML
Today, my slacker co-worker accused me of stealing because I got more hours than him. I was called into the manager's office and interrogated. They believed him, and sent me home for the day. I guess it pays off being the boss's kid. FML

what sucks is that not only did they lose their job but you can't use the boss as reference! hopefully this blame won't affect getting hired somewhere else!!

that's just a lawsuit waiting to happen. a business can NOT fire you for stealing without having concrete proof. talk to a lawyer and get some money out of it.

Yeah that's what I'd do. Sue for wrongful firing. At least you get something out of the whole thing.

As one, I just wanna say not all "restaurant brats" are lazy and get away with murder. I had no choice but to pick up shifts when my friends called out sick to go party or something. But FYL, that sucks.
