Oh OK then

Today, I got approached by a lady while eating at a fast-food restaurant who asked if I could spare five dollars. Confidently, I pulled out my wallet to show her that I had no cash, only to reveal a perfectly crisp five dollar bill that I had completely forgotten about. FML

You could've just said no in the first place, without showing her your wallet.

Life's not so bad when you can forget you have money in your wallet.

I got money on my mind my money not on my mind

I think he has too now. Not his fault though

YDI for being a show off.

Being a show off... About how much money he doesn't have? That doesn't make any sense.

you dont owe anyone shit. just say no dude. YDI

It is her lucky day

Pretty sure there's a moral to the story...

he doesn't have to do anything. he has no obligation to give anything to anybody. it would have been nice for him to do, but he doesn't have to.

I think his surprise that is was even there shows that he doesn't have anything to spare

I wouldn't feel bad for not giving it to her, OP. Most people who are begging for money put themselves into that situation.
