Durrrrrr This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff Canada

Not a great start

Today, I went to a "party" with the boy whom I'm interested in. It was the first time I met his friends. Turns out he and all his friends are hardcore Christians who don't drink and are celibate. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

...I'm so confused. You seem disappointed! As if you believe that alcohol and sex are what make a person interesting or something like that. If that's what you wanted, then you should have just bought a ***** and a six-pack.

whats wrong with not drinking?

Wow a decent guy! U better friend zone him and start looking for a douchebag who does all that, breaks your heart, so you'll go running back to the nice guy only to find him taken.

that's probably bullshit just saying. I had a guy tell me that. turned out he was an alcoholic n lost it when he was 15

**** blocked by Jesus!

Not having sex is actually not good for you. Unless my memory is foggy.

That's not a bad thing. Sounds like a good influence. :)

:O I would like die.

What's wrong with them being Christians? Nothing is wrong with actually following God's Word despite popular belief. I can understand your frustration because I'm not a fan of uptight church people either but there is nothing wrong with them being celibate and straight edge.

Out of all the comment sections I have scrolled through on fml, this is perhaps the most hypocritical and judgemental I have witnessed. If you wish to live a hardcore christian lifestyle then that is your perogative. It is not for anyone else to judge your choices if you are not hurting anyone, but on the same note you cannot judge others for not living by the same rulebook. I have never been religious. I drink. I smoke pot. i have sex with my boyfriend. based on what the majority of comments are saying, this apparently makes me a bad person and a "****", yet I have always treated others with respect and compassion. if I see a person upset or in danger I try to help and comfort them. is this not enough? What I really don't understand are the comments calling the dude a "great guy" simply because he doesn't drink or have sex. why? Don't get me wrong, for all I know he might be a great guy, but that's the point, I don't know. I have never met him and neither have you. what happened to judging people based on how they treat others? it's slightly ironic the these comments keep using the word shallow. Just live and let live.
