Today, I realized that the comforting, unique scent of my mother in my childhood was actually the smell of the marijuana she smokes. FML

Parents need a little something to take the edge off of having to deal with children. Obviously you weren't harmed by her actions if that smell is remembered as comforting. It certainly beats alcoholic breath.
