Nope nope nope

Today, I had to repeatedly explain to my nosy, interfering, clingy, no-concept-of-personal-space mom that I'm not okay with her moving into my new house, or the same neighborhood, or even the same goddamn state as me when I get married next week. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

Just tell her that her behaviour is pushing you away and ruining your relationship with her. If she keeps it up she's going to lose you, hopefully that will help make a difference.

But what if it's on the state line border? Loopholes! Always remember to cover possible loopholes!

tell her to stay out of your life. and then cut her out of your life anyway.

Happy mothers day

Every year, the FML comment section reminds me that's it's Mother's Day. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Your mother needs a life of her own.

I feel the best option for OP would be to clearly explain that she values her privacy and would prefer to live separately with her husband. Maybe OP's mom is a bit clingy and would like to continue to stay with her.

My mom sounds like the same as your mom. This would be something she would do.

Wtf dude your mom just wants to be close to you AND it's mother's Day tomorrow

So you're fine with your parents moving into YOUR house after you just got married? Then staying there for the rest of their life? You don't seem to have a concept of personal space either.

I wish my husband felt that way about his mother...

Good for you

Agree with not moving with you but at least keep her in the same state. You never know when you'll need her to be there for you. ;)) hih
