Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I paid $140 extra to get more comfort during a flight. The man behind me was so tall that his legs didn't let me recline the seat, and complained every time I tried to during the night. FML
Today, I booked the cheapest seat on a six-hour flight to save money. The person next to me spent the entire trip asleep on my shoulder, and I felt too awkward to wake them up. By the time we landed, my neck hurt so much that I had to explain to guards and baggage claim staff why I couldn't turn my head. FML
Today, I was supposed to fly home for my dad's funeral, but the woman in the seat next to me was so obese, her bulging flesh left absolutely no way for me to sit in my seat. I complained to the stewardess, who then forced me to leave the plane just for raising my voice in frustration. FML
Today, I had to spend a long bus ride with my chest pressed against the window, because some mammoth of a woman decided to squeeze her double wide ass into my seat. FML
Today, on the airplane, the kid behind me kicked my seat hundreds of times, while the big bald guy next to me farted deadly ones repeatedly. I was on a non-stop 14-hour flight. FML
Today, I'm on a 14-hour flight, stuck next to a large man whose rancid body odor is eclipsed only by his constant flatulence, which he loudly blames on me every time. On my other side is his friend who laughs like a moose at everything. There are no empty seats and no-one will trade with me. FML
Today, I had a several-hour-long flight. I was put in a seat at the very back of the plane. Before the plane even lifted off, a woman took a dump in the bathroom that I stank for the rest of the flight. Whenever I tried to get some sleep, the flight attendant walked past, savagely jostling me. FML
Today, I was on a plane in the aisle seat; the guy in the middle was encroaching on my space, and the window seat was not taken. The stewardess noticed my discomfort and suggested the guy move so we both had space. He had bought both seats and "liked sitting in the middle." FML
Today, I have an eight hour transatlantic flight and the person sitting next to me has already filled his third sick bag. This wouldn't be quite so bad were we not still at the terminal with passengers still boarding the plane. FML
Today, I boarded a trans-Atlantic flight by myself, and struck up a nice conversation with the passenger across the aisle. Before we even took off, the man in front of me unbuckled, stood to face me, and asked me to please shut the hell up. "It's a 9 hour flight, and you're VERY loud!" FML

you should have switched seats since he needed the leg room and then you wouldnt have someones knees in your back the whole flight.

F his life for being tall?
rallets 23
why did you just switch seats with him?
chippa 24
Kind of. Directly relating to this FML, F tall-guy's life for having his knees press into the back of a person's chair throughout an entire flight. He probably payed extra to get more leg room as well, but still can't sit in comfort. I just think it's worse to have your knees digging into a chair than to have the back of your chair pressed in by knees--especially since this is a one-time experience for OP, but this will happen on every flight tall-guy ever takes.

True, I hate the small amount of leg room myself :)

I have long legs.. Last time I flew, I sat on first row, I had to sit (very) diagonally or with my feet on the wall at the whole flight.. I feel sorry for both of you FYL

Fyl if you ever get in a plane crash. Most people survive the crash, but they die of smoke inhalation because their femurs are broken from hitting the seat in front of them and they can't get off the plane. I would have a better chance cuz I'm only 5'0

Why didn't you get first class? It's cheaper than buying two seats or at least the same price.

she didnt get two seats.

How on earth do you fly 8 hours from Sweden to Denmark? In a hot air balloon?
percawesome 0
11 that actually made me laugh. Hot air balloon image just gets me HAHA

I honestly want to know why you wouldn't just switch to that second chair you paid for. I'm sure he's not as wide as two chairs.
xxmollyxx 25
She didn't buy two seats. She bought one seat with more space in front of it. Probably at an emergency exit, they always have more space.
fthku 13
Oh wow, you're right. I wonder how I read that as buying two seats. Makes more sense too.

welll u should have leaned ur seat waaaay back
chippa 24
What good would that do?
percawesome 0
Causing everyone behind OP to also lean back and therefore the guy behind's legs would be straightened? I don't know. sort of makes sense but I don't think it would actually work... hmm...
