Today, an exterminator sprayed for cockroaches in my dorm room. After classes I got back to find three large cockroaches on top of my bed. Now that the exterminator has sprayed everything, all the cockroaches are coming out. FML

Today, after three visits from exterminators and another from a steam cleaner, I still have bedbugs. FML
Today, I hired an exterminator to get the roaches out of the house I'm renting. I came back from work and went to my bathroom, noticing that he used the plunger to unclog the toilet after he took a dump. After $150, there was shit all over my floor and plunger, and roaches still in my kitchen. FML
Today, when I got back to my dorm, I found a trail of ants trying to shove a dead roach into a power outlet. The front desk insists that there is no pest problem. FML
Today, I finally got some sleep after an exterminator came yesterday and took care of our roach problem. I woke up and kissed my boyfriend good morning. Frowning, he told me I had something stuck on the corner of my mouth. It was a roach leg. Where is the rest of the roach? FML
Today, I turned on my A/C for the first time in a couple of months. A family of ginormous cockroaches climbed out of the air vent and a few clumps of dead cockroaches fell to the ground. FML
Today, my son found a cockroach in his bed. I had to kill the thing and wash all his sheets and stuffed animals before he'd finally agree to go back to bed, three hours later. FML
Today, I was cooking dinner when I noticed a cockroach on the kitchen counter. I reflexively tried to spray it with what I had to hand, which was window cleaner, but it seems to have pissed it off and flew right at me instead. I screamed and ran out of the kitchen, leaving the roach in charge. FML
Today, my roommate showed me a video of a cockroach crawling all over my face while I was asleep in the lounge. FML
Today, after my dad trying every bait, hormone, and poison, the cockroaches in this apartment have gone crazy. They are trying to kill themselves. One tried to commit suicide, by suffocation, in my mouth this morning. FML
Today, my apartment was flooded due to a broken pipe, which caused a huge family of cockroaches to disperse. Did you know they can fly? FML

The people that were renting our house before us turned it into a roach-infested dump. The landlady had it sprayed before we moved in, but the suckers came back. No matter how clean we keep the house, we still find them in random places. So gross.

I'm having the same problem right now. I moved in at the beginning of August and keep my place mostly spotless. After killing a roach every night for the past week I put about a dozen roach traps around the kitchen and bathrooms last night. Here's hoping it works.

I'm an exterminator myself. And to his defense that's what happens. You have to flush them out from where they are hiding

Spraying actually does very little for roaches. Bait is the way to go.

I hate roaches. I can spray or bait, but the whole apartment complex is infested, it'll be alright for 2 days or so after I spray, but after that they come creeping back. When my landlord was asked if he would do anything about it he said "I didn't bring them" Apparently it's not his problem... At least they're not the flying kind.

If your rearrange the letters in "dormitory", it spells "dirty room". From what I saw in my daughter's dormitory, I can understand whey it can become a breeding ground for cockroaches.
