Today, I broke up with my boyfriend because I was tired of waiting for him to propose. It turns out he was going to propose and had the ring and everything, but I fucked it all up. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. I had only been dating him for about a month. Thinking he wouldn't take it very hard, I invited him over so I could tell him in person. Little did I know he was going to start crying on my couch and not leave for 5 hours. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed. Three hours later, he called me to tell me he was kidding. FML
Today, I finally worked up the courage to tell my boyfriend that I wanted to go separate ways. Before I could say anything, he proposed. FML
Today, my boyfriend took me out to a fancy dinner. Halfway through, he said he wanted to break up. I started crying, but the whole restaurant thought he'd proposed, and started clapping. FML
Today, I was going to break up with my boyfriend after we went out for dinner. To my surprise, our families were also in the restaurant, to witness him propose to me. FML

same thing happened to me last year.... don't feel bad... some guys just want to be left alone for 2 months without calling and hardly seeing you just to ask you to marry them in front of his family at x-mas as you call him a jerk.... yea... embarrassing. just call it off (the break-up) and let him know not to do that again and then evaluate if you want to marry him and reassure him of the feelings you find. then say yes. :) best of luck!
