Today, my Facebook account is deactivated and I don't think they are going to give me my account balance of $855 on Marketplace. So, I'm out my items, shipping costs and the profit I would have made. Facebook Marketplace is a scam. I'm so depressed. FML

Today, my OnlyFans account got deactivated, and no one will give me a reason as to why. There goes $200… FML
Today, after nearly 19 years, my Facebook account was permanently disabled because I'd banned too many scammers. I admin 58 groups, for over 2 million members, and have banned 50k+ fake accounts. One of them apparently reported me, and since Facebook runs some fake accounts, it was easier to ban me. FML
Today, I realized I've been sinking into a deep depression, ignoring all my friends, and don't know what to do with my life anymore. This is all because I gave up Facebook for lent. FML
Today, my husband fell for an online scam leaving us 1450.00 in the negative. We get paid tomorrow and most of our money is going to cover that debt. FML

Today, I got scammed and lost thousands of dollars, but my best friend would rather post on Instagram than reply to my texts. FML
Today, my mom ordered my birthday presents on eBay. Too bad she used my account, so when I went to look for ideas, everything she bought me popped up. It's so much stuff I don't want, need, or will ever use, and it's on my credit card. FML
Today, I looked at the revenue from my Etsy shop. After hours and hours of hard work, I was ecstatic to find that I made about $560 so far. That is, until I remembered that it all went to my mom's bank account and I paid all the fees out of my own pocket. And yes, she won't give it back. FML

stop trying to sell stolen items(happens way more than you think) or jacking up the cost to unreasonable prices(i've seen people try and sell something that is $50 BRAND NEW for $125+) and this would probably not happen to you. Marketplace is only a scam if YOU are trying to scam. I've sold many things on FB Marketplace and have never had a problem.

I'm really curious what the whole story is. Seems like they would have to pay out your account even if you were banned...unless the funds are part of a criminal investigation.
