Keep your distance
Today, my roommate told me she had developed a rash on her armpits, which causes them to be itchy. The doctor told her the only way to heal it is to not wear deodorant for a month. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, despite using deodorant religiously and showering twice a day, my roommate still smells so bad that every time she enters the room I become physically sick. FML
Today, I had an allergic reaction to my deodorant. My armpits wouldn't stop itching, and by the time my shift was over, they were raw and bloody. FML
Today, I found out I'm allergic to the pills my doctor prescribed for coughing, which I really need because I ripped a muscle in my stomach. Now my whole upper body is covered in a terrible itchy rash. I also found out it will last for at least another week. FML
Today, I went to the doctor to inquire about the nasty rash on my arms. He concluded that I'm allergic to beer and the rash will go away if I stay away from it. I'm a bartender. FML
Today, I was getting ready for a very unpleasant doctor's appointment. I got out of the shower and used a new body spray all over my torso and arms. Turns out I'm allergic to it and now my skin is on fire, so now I get to go to an already uncomfortable appointment even more uncomfortable than I'd planned. FML
Today, it's so insanely hot that no matter how often I shower or use deodorant the smell of my armpits makes me feel physically sick. FML
Today, my roommate complained about his penis being smelly and itchy. It's been a week. Yesterday he woke me up in the middle of the night, asking if I had some kind of Vaseline or moisturizer he could use for the itching. He still refuses to go to the doctor. FML
Today, I had to use anti-perspirant deodorant under my breasts. FML
Today, I used a new fragrance-free hypoallergenic laundry detergent for my underwear, as I have sensitive skin. I got a rash. FML
Today, my friend let me borrow a pair of jeans. I found out I'm allergic to her laundry detergent when I broke out in a rash everywhere that the jeans touched. FML

It’s FML for her, not you, dear snowflake

She might benefit from coconut oil, it absorbs smells and is very gentle on skin.

except it's worse for OP, they have to live with the smell. The flatmate won't be able to after a while. and it's not like they'll be out and about during lockdown.

It's bad for both, to be sure, but the roommate won't be smelling themself for long.

You put your head in her pits often? If she stays clean, she shouldn't smell too bad from social distance.

Well, we are in lockdown so I doubt she will do much to make her smell and if she showers normally, then you will both be fine.

some people, me for example, need deodorant even when I don’t do anything, shower regularly, AND it’s cold.

Shut up and keep the a/c on. It’s not that big of a deal.

So? Deodorant isn't mandatory and lots of people don't even need it. Even more so if no one is leaving home these days.
