Today, I did a new exercise where you lie flat on your stomach and lift your legs. Despite easily lifting my legs into the air from my back, the muscles needed to do it from the other position are so pathetically weak that I could barely lift my legs a tenth of an inch off the ground. FML

Baby steps. Just repeated attempts at what you can do, you’ll build the strength. Coming from someone who was flat on their back for 10 years, I couldn’t bike up a small incline at first. After powered and e-bike conversion kits as an assist, in a year i was now able to do slaloms up a steep hill without any other assistance (no ebike or motor use). So baby steps. You’ll get there!
