Today, my boss asked me to send an email on his behalf with an important report attached. I've already received 3 responses from directors commenting on poor spelling and factual errors. I get paid 1/4 the salary of my boss and he can't even write properly. FML

Today, my boss chewed me out for correcting several spelling and grammar mistakes in one of his reports. The words "Think you're so damn smart, don't ya?" were uttered. I'm his secretary, and proofreading his shit is part of my job. FML
Today, I found out that I'm not getting a new position I applied for at my company. Now, I have to continue working for my boss, who recently severely criticized my spelling in my reports, only they weren't my reports, and when I pointed this out, she simply never responded. FML
Today, I made it onto my boss's shit-list, after pointing out that he'd misspelled "customer" as "costumer" 6 times in his report, and "college education" as "collage education" twice. It'd be a dick move on his part even if making corrections like this weren't part of my damn job. FML
Today, my boss asked me to read through a document. I gave my feedback, saying it seemed like it had been written by an 8-year-old. Turns out it was in fact written by him. FML
Today, my boss yelled at me for ruining the report she was supposed to write with my "terrible spelling and grammar". I've checked it thoroughly, and all of her 'corrections' are wrong. She doesn’t believe me, and is refusing to look at a dictionary. FML
Today, I sent an email to my boss saying I'd fixed a glitch in our mail servers. He called me later, angrily shouting that I'd done a piss-poor job of fixing it, because my email had spammed his inbox with several hundred duplicate messages. FML
Today, my boss tried to fire me for not emailing him a screenshot to prove my email wasn't working. FML
Today, my boss and I were preparing a lunch order for a nearby real-estate agency. I noticed that the order was riddled with spelling mistakes, so I laughed and mocked the realtors, calling them stupid and incompetent. My boss then pointed out that the order was written in his handwriting. FML
Today, my boss signed and sent me back my timesheet. He named the PDF file "Timeshit". Now I don't know whether he's terrible at spelling, or just expressed his view of my job. FML
Today, my boss asked for recommendations on how to improve the office. I sent her an e-mail full of my ideas. Later, my boss sent me a reply, saying, "Here's what head office thinks of your ideas." It contained a list of insults upper management made about me. FML

It doesn't, but it's still not a good look when you can't thoroughly proofread the reports you're sending out. OP said that there weren't only spelling errors, but factual ones too, and things like that may seem insignificant, but they can easily cause a whole host of problems.

Actually I think the directors did know it was from the boss's behalf and just reported the spelling and grammar mistakes which made OP realize that his boss makes four times his salary through he can't spell/have proper grammar. Summary, OP is just pointing out the "unfairness".

I've actually read some mail conversations between my boss and our clients. High-class business men. I almost couldn't understand what was going on and what was the subject because of spelling errors and typos. Not only my boss', but those company owner's spelling, too. English is not our and our client's mother language, but if I can spell-check a report before sending it to the whole company, why can't they?

This is a YDI. You need to check what you send if you're sending it without mentioning your boss' name, else explicitly mention it.

Possibly you have to learn to understand "boss speak". When mine says "I'm going to ... city tomorrow" I'm not supposed to say "Have a nice trip" but to make all reservations and possibly visas too. When your boss says "send" it apparently means "proofread, revise, and update".
