Today, my boss signed and sent me back my timesheet. He named the PDF file "Timeshit". Now I don't know whether he's terrible at spelling, or just expressed his view of my job. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Smart
Today, my boss chewed me out for correcting several spelling and grammar mistakes in one of his reports. The words "Think you're so damn smart, don't ya?" were uttered. I'm his secretary, and proofreading his shit is part of my job. FML
Spelling Bee
Today, I made it onto my boss's shit-list, after pointing out that he'd misspelled "customer" as "costumer" 6 times in his report, and "college education" as "collage education" twice. It'd be a dick move on his part even if making corrections like this weren't part of my damn job. FML
Today, I was fired. For "lack of attention to details", specifically spelling errors. My now ex-boss misspelled the name of his own company on my severance agreement. FML
I'm not paid enough for this shit
Today, my boss asked me to send an email on his behalf with an important report attached. I've already received 3 responses from directors commenting on poor spelling and factual errors. I get paid 1/4 the salary of my boss and he can't even write properly. FML
Today, my boss sent me some application forms to check over. After I spell-checked them and returned them, I found out they're going to be used to hire someone to replace me. FML
Today, my boss fired me because I corrected him after he misspoke during a meeting. FML
Can't be bothered
Today, my boss said he was giving me a significant raise. After he requested the payroll department to raise my salary they informed him he needed to fill out a one-sheet form. He took my raise away because he didn't want to fill the sheet out. FML
Today, my boss made me type up my own written warning, where I had to trash myself and describe my own "shocking incompetence". All the department heads are going to receive a copy of this. FML
Today, my boss tried to fire me for not emailing him a screenshot to prove my email wasn't working. FML
Cursive
Today, my boss and I were preparing a lunch order for a nearby real-estate agency. I noticed that the order was riddled with spelling mistakes, so I laughed and mocked the realtors, calling them stupid and incompetent. My boss then pointed out that the order was written in his handwriting. FML

"How best do I convey to my employee that I don't find his work satisfactory? Telling him might be ambiguous. OH! I'll name his timesheet 'timeshit'! Clear as day!"

I don't see FML with this, rather it hilarious to me.

I wouldn't doubt that whole spelling thing, there are people who spell "Oreo" as "Orio."

Why would they lose their job? They don't name it; the other person did.

@20 I think #4 means that they hope OP keeps his job because this could mean that the boss doesn't like his performance and therefore, will fire him.

Probably neither, he probably just thinks he's funny.

Sometimes I'll name files ridiculous things that don't mean anything. I could see myself doing this.

Probably just meant Timeshift, and forgot the f.

Does he speak Spanish? Because in Spanish you pronounce "i" as "e" in English, so he could have gotten confused.

OP's from Poland. Depending on the age of OP's boss, he may not know English very well, not living in an English-speaking country and all. In former socialist countries, younger people generally know very good English, while 40+ generation did not have many chances to practise when they were young.

Also, in Polish, too, like in a lot of other languages, you would pronounce "i" as "e" in English. I could definitely see someone who has only ever /heard/ the word "timesheet" and not read it, and who has limited knowledge of the English language, spell it as "timeshit".

Never mind the boss..what do you think matters..!
dhil11 5
um not really, the boss has control over whether he keeps his job or not, so it kinda matters what he thinks

Unless you really suck at your job I 99.9% sure he meant time sheet.
