I don't wanna…

Today, my spineless shitwhip of a boss made me go fire a notoriously abusive employee. I had to act like firing him was my decision, even though I'm the secretary. Now I get to live in constant fear that the guy was serious when he threatened to find out where I live and kill me. FML

You could always file a police report or restraining order

Just file a police report if you start finding anything amiss

I think your boss thinks you are disposable that's why he had you do it

Does this company have an HR office? Sheeesh.

Is your name Pam?

File a police report, get a damn good security system, maybe get a gun permit and a Rottweiler

Get a restraining order.

Sucks you live in an anti constitution state. Round here if someone tried coming in your house to hurt you Smith and Wesson would make sure they regretted that decision.

you should of just fired him with the truth. never let someone else make you lie

Threats of violence are surprisingly illegal. OP, as they are considered assault. I wouldn't suggest suing, but you'd definitely have a strong case to have the authorities guarantee your safety somehow.

The boss put you in an awkward position. He does the hiring so he should also do the firing.
