Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my husband is so bored with speaking to me, he literally walked outside when I was mid-sentence during a conversation about how I need more attention in our relationship. We've only been married 3 months. FML
Today, my husband is miserable. He couldn't sleep. He tried to make me feel bad for sleeping through the night. I was medicated from a brain scan. His is work is horrible, and no one understands, etc. He's mad that I took a walk. Now, as I am frustrated and crying, he is laughing on the phone with his coworkers. FML
Today, my husband ended an argument with, "Do you want to know why people don't like being around you?" FML
Today, I tried to talk to my soon-to-be-husband about how he needs to take a more active approach in his own life. It devolved to him screaming at me and putting words in my mouth. This has been going on for six months. FML
Today, I noticed my husband was acting moody, and I asked him what was wrong. He replied that he didn't know, so trying to lighten the mood, I facetiously said, "It's 'cause you're stuck with me, isn't it?" He nodded, trundled off, and hasn't shown his face since. FML
Today, I asked my husband to talk and he got the most tired and “Here we go again” look and then asked what he’d done wrong this time. Apparently, I get mad at him so often that now every time we talk, he immediately assumes he did something wrong. I think I’m a horrible wife. FML
Today, my husband just told me that he no longer loves me but keeps me around to handle his finances. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that he becomes a boring version of himself whenever we are together. FML
Today, after a nasty fight with my military husband, which resulted in mandatory marriage counseling, he told me we needed to talk about the fight. Not talk it over and apologize; talk it over so our stories are consistent when we see the therapist. FML
Today, my husband (M72) and I (F69) had yet another argument over all the time he spends away from home doing hobbies and volunteering. After an emotional conversation about my moving out, he said, "Well, if we are done talking about that, let me tell you what I got to do today." Biggest emotional slap ever. FML

Yeesh OP. I'm sorry, that's one of the most awful things to ever be told. Try out some counseling together, especially if you weren't feeling too great yourself. Work out why he feels this way, or heck, talk it out at home together first. On the other hand, (again, not that he should have said what he said) are you depressed? Do you constantly talk about the bad things in life, always talking negative and sadly? I've had friends who started only talking to me negatively and it reeeally puts a damper on my mood. For someone who lives with you and has to also lives with how you react to events you talk about, I can see exactly where he's coming from. Again, maybe counseling for you or both of you. Could also be other reasons, maybe you're too happy and he's depressed about something? It's a 1 sentence FML, I don't know too much about your situation.

You mean that permanently cringed look when he talks to you wasn't enough of a hint?
