Today, my superstitious girlfriend of 4 years sneezed in the middle of my proposal. She claimed it was a sign from the universe for us to break up and then immediately left. FML

Well, you dodged a bullet. Imagine all the shit in the future if you DID marry that crazy girl! But seriously, I think she used that as an excuse to say no. I have never heard of a "sneeze during proposal is a sign of (insert random shit here)" or somthing like that. I am superstitious, but if somthing happens and its a sign of "bad luck" I just brace myself. Nothing much.

If you love something, let it sneeze. If it stays, it was yours to begin with. If not who nose where it would've led. Sorry op, I'd say you had a lucky escape.
