Get counting
Today, as my 12-hour shift was about to finish, a young boy came in wanting to buy a $200 gaming device. His mom said he was purchasing it with his own money, which I found admirable. That is, until he took his piggy bank out of his backpack. FML

There's a saying "never feel lazy to count money, you'll suffer if you do"

The law in America actually says no legal tender may be refused, so unless it wasn't American currency or you live out of state then I hope you counted it. I've done it before to. $500 in pennies. And yes. It took a long tone

That is not entirely true. US law does allow for shops to enforce certain rules allowing them to refuse if too money coins are used for example.

What a bitch of a mother to not have the decency to take that money to a bank or coin star to cash it. I would've been pissed. FYL

I work at a local ice cream and grocery place and most of the customers are old, and the old people tend to love to give me tons of change. Such a pain sometimes
