Today, I accidentally sprayed some perfume in my eye. After rinsing said burning eye with water for a few minutes, I half-blindly grabbed the eyedrops my sister left on the counter and used some. They were actually tea tree oil drops. Ouch. FML

Today, after an extremely hard day at work, I took a hot shower to wind down a little bit. I accidentally splashed a painful amount of hot water and shampoo in my eyes. My left contact is now stuck to my eyeball. FML
Today, while I was doing my hair and makeup, I somehow managed to spray myself in the right eye with hairspray, and in the left eye with makeup setting spray. I left the house with two very bloodshot eyes. FML
Today, I was brushing my teeth in a rush before work. I squeezed the toothpaste tube too hard, and some of it it shot directly into my eye. I spent the next ten minutes half-blind, crying peppermint tears, and still somehow managed to be late. FML
Today, I realized how exhausted I was when I mixed up my eye makeup remover with toner. My eye still burns. FML
Today, I woke up with pink eye. My mom tried to help by putting drops in. It started burning like hell; she didn't understand why. It turns out she was putting ear drops in my eye. FML
Today, I put aftershave on my fingers to encourage myself to stop biting my nails. I absentmindedly rubbed my eye a few minutes later. It burnt like hell. FML
Today, I noticed a strange mark on the inside of my mouthwash bottle. As I was bending down to investigate, my hands tightened around the bottle and mouthwash squirted in my eye. It still burns. FML
Today, while squishing a stink bug, it sprayed directly in my eye. FML
Today, while brushing my teeth, I applied the toothpaste to my toothbrush when a few bristles got caught on the lip of the tube and flung a glob of toothpaste into my eye. My eye is now bloodshot, but at least it's minty fresh. FML
Today, I was attempting to tame my bushy eyebrows, since I'm starting a new job in a few days and need to look somewhat presentable, when I poked myself in the eye. Hard. I thought I’d blinded myself for a few moments. Now it’s just red, sore and watery. FML

Tea tree oil is actually very painful even on skin if concentrated enough. I can't even imagine what getting it in an eye would feel like.

Also perfume is not to blanket yourself. it should mainly be used at the neck, forearms are okay at the inner fold of the elbow, and a light spritz of your body. This allows it to mix with your own scent and is activated by your body heat. overscenting is trashy even if you're only 13

Really? Exactly, loads of people. Tea tree oil has tons of beneficial uses. It can be used as to help ease a cold or sinus issues (in a vaporizer or like Vicks vapor rub), can be applied to cuts or burns to help heel them and keep them clean..can be used as an astringent for acne or blemishes...and I'm pretty sure you can even clean your house with it. Tea tree oil was my mom's sidekick when I was growing up. :) Oh, and it has nothing to do with tea that you drink. ;) BUT what I don't understand is how you confuse a plastic bottle of eye drops with a little glass bottle of tea tree oil. Couldn't they smell the difference?! Tea tree oil is rather potent.
